Hey new to the page
having an issue with my carb slider jamming ect just replaced the carb with a good pre owned unit and seem to be having a similar issue
is there a home fix for this as a posed to buying yet another carb as the quads my daily transport and stuck without it

Been out of the atv scene for a few years. Just bought a atv. Question I have. Is their anyone who makes a lithium battery for atv's. I only ask because they have them for boats now. Buddy of mine has 2 Dakota's he runs on his. I'd only imagine you can get a really strong battery at half the weight. Any input?

With this cold snap, I noticed yesterday that the battery on my grizzly was a little weak. even clicked a few times before I got it to start. I'm thinking of picking up a batter tender/ trickle charger so was wondering what people use to keep their ATV battery charged up. I was looking at these on amazon. They both have good reviews.

I have a 2001 Quadmaster. Bought it from the original Owner. Its in Excellent condition for a 2001. The guy said there was a carb problem when I bought it. It seems like it is not getting fuel. I took off the tank, cleaned it, replaced the gas with fresh Gas, Installed a New Gas Valve. Then rebuilt the carb with a Carb Kit. Started it up and same damn thing, seems like its starving for gas. It will also backfire out the exhaust while trying to accelerate. Now the weird part. I started it the other day and it ran great. We went for a ride and it ran as if nothing was wrong with it. Started it the next day and back to running crappy again. I was like WTF !!! ... Anyone have any ideas of what the problem could be?

I had a problem with my CF Moto 800 It all started when a inline fuse blew melting the fuse holder 30Amp, the fuse was positioned right next to the battery
When I replaced the fuse the quad started but would not tick over and kept stalling.
has anybody else had this problem, and do you know why the blown fuse should affect the idle speed.

i am sure some one has switched from the dinky battery to a larger car car battery, so any advice? ive got enough bits and bobs on my atv that i feel i need to step up, i keep a float charger on it but i left it unplugged for about a week and it was dead and it a fairly new battery from advance auto, im probably gonna add a cb radio in the future and i think the only thin that has a constant draw is the clock in the dash and the memory for the stereo
