2004 Polaris Sportmans 500 Instrument Cluster (part #3280453)

Anyone have a problem with the Polaris instrument cluster/speedometer frozen(part # 3280453) ? Mine is always showing R and slow now(see photo), Did it go bad or can you reset it or is something else the problem. It is on a 2004 Sportsman 500

Found out it was wrong instrument cluster for 2004 should have been part # 3280431 (so much for listening to previous owner that it was working)

Do you still have this instrument cluster. I’m looking for a replacement for my 02 700 sportsman.

Those are for 2004 and up. It seems they don’t work on the 2002 model. Only some of the functions work, but most of them don’t.

I have an ‘02 cluster for a 700 that I’d be willing to part with.

What kind of shape is it in? And does it work? How much would you want for it?

Its in good shape, not all scuffed up. Comes off a parts bike, worked when it last ran but I don’t want to guarantee that just yet. I have a 2005 Sportsman that I can plug it into to make sure the display is still functioning (not sure if the speedo would work on the newer generation? We’ll see I guess).

Yeah, that don’t display correctly on the newer models from what I understand. But if the display lights up it should work on the O2 that I have.

From my expierience they are fairly model specific, just minor changes from year to year.

Any word on the speedometer yet? And what you’d want for it?
