Hello, I cant find any solution... The problem is that battery isnt charging.. I located and meassured alternator cable, there was like 100-150Volts in cable that is going to the voltage regulator, but the output from the regulator that is going to the battery, I guess, was without any power, just 0 volts.. So I replaced voltage regulator but didnt helped. On fresh charged battery on turned atv is there around 13.5 volts, when I push gas the volts goes up to 13.6 maximum but the battery still isnt charging, by time it just drops down to 12volts and less again. I have no idea what is the problem here. I would appreciate every help. And sorry for my bad languagge :).

Assuming the replacement regulator is working (not Chinese junk that may or may not work), then it's pretty odd to be at 0V.  What are you using as a ground to check voltage?  at the battery?  Check the ground wire from the battery, if it's not grounded properly you won't get any voltage.  Or are you checking directly off of the regulator?

Ive checked the wire from alternator and there is from 100 to 150volts so I guess this is good. And where can I find fuses (I have Linhai 500 if it helps) ? Like I have some case behind the battery that looks like there are the fuses but I have no idea how to check if they are good or not.

I'm in the middle of repairing damage from the chain coming off of this from the previous owner. (I learned this is somewhat common on these for various reasons.)
What are you guys using to either help keep the chain correct and on the sprocket or guarding your engine in the case that it comes off / breaks?
Is there an upgraded guard that can bolt around the sprocket in replacement of the currently broken OEM alluminum?

Hi all.  New to the forum & quads.  Seems like a great place full of info.
I just recently picked up a 2005 Suzuki KingQuad LTA700.  I need a battery.  I've been reading up on conventional vs AGM types.  I have a Royal Distributing and Canadian Tire.  RD has 2 types avail for my year/Model a battery YTX16-BS CRANK $75, and BATTERY YTX20CH-BS YUASA $140.  Neither of these is the type from the manual FTZ16-BS.
from what I can tell... I think the only difference is the capacity with the $75 unit rated at 14 AH/10HR and the $140 unit rated at 18 AH/10HR ... which is the rating in the manual for the FTZ16-BS.  How much does this make a difference for nearly x2 the cost?
And about the models/type numbers.... what is important to know ... they all end in "-BS" but are the other details relevant or just manufacturer naming?
