2005 Suzuki Kingquad 700 wire issue

Hey guys, speedometer and odometer won’t work and found these two wires not attached to anything. Any ideas?

Not sure about the first pic.  But teh wire in teh second should attach right next to the oil fill cap.  looks like the attachment point is broke off.

Yep, That's the speed sensor wires.  Looks like your speed sensor is broken off.  You'll need a new one.  $96 on Partzilla or find a good used one on ebay for about 1/3 that price.

Common issue, replaced the speed sensor on my dads kingquad twice, he extended the skidplate now for better protection.
