I have been sorting out some of the problems on a new to us 500 x2 and it seems I may have a sending unit problem. I bought a new gauge cluster and once that was hooked up, I see the fuel level bar graph flashes constantly.

Watched a yt video about a similar problem and it looks like a cleaning is in order to get the fuel level working again. My question is - would replacing fuel pump, regulator, etc. be wise since I will be in there anyway? The machine runs fine and doesn't seem to have fuel delivery problems (yet - understand it only has an hour or two of use by us while I work on it).

Hi, did you ever get your fuel gauge sorted?  Don't know if it's helpful, but I helped my neighbor with his Hisun EFI ATV last year.  Electronic fuel gauge on the LCD cluster was acting up, so I took the sending unit right out of the tank and moved the float bank and forth and watched the gauge with the ignition on.  It worked but had a delay, you'd have to wait a few seconds for it to respond, guess like a snubber.  Anyway that seemed to fix the problem, bad connection or sticky float, or didn't know about the delay.  Hope this helps, cheers!~  Bellarmine

I have a 2009 Honda Rancher TRX420FA with shifting problems.
Usually it shifts ok when cold but after couple minutes it will stop shifting with no codes.
The 1st shift clutch oil pressure when in first gear is 74psi. The 2nd shift clutch oil pressure when in second gear is 74psi.
The 1st shift clutch oil pressure when in neutral is zero. The problem is when the tranny is in neutral the 2nd shift clutch pressure starts around 10-15psi and builds to 20psi. Is this normal?

Hisun 700 EFI. Replaced TMAP sensor had broken off . Fuel pump pressure 41psi. The only way I can keep it running (and runs fine) is to close off fuel return line.

This thing came with a cheap aftermarket carb on it the problem I'm having is it won't start with choke installed into carburetor it will start and get run without it installed then bogs out after about 2 min run time I've checked timing , compression, checked valves for proper clearance , also did a smoke test for air leaks found none.

I’m having a issue with my choke when its on it runs fine when I cut the choke off the atv cuts off went to take the carburetor off and saw the choke plunger broke at the nut to screw it in could this be my issue? Do I just need to buy a plunger kit and put it on? I took the carburetor off and cleaned both jets anyway just to make sure and it’s still having issues staying on
