I agree, that would be AWSOME. The TRX is actually the lowest costing 450. At 7 grand! :rolleyes:

yeah ours started at that price until Nick put the Elka Suspension, front and back mind you...on the tab as well....the price went up.

Yeah, I'd say with the ITP wheels/tires I have my Brute is over 650 pounds without me on it. The tires (TerraCrosses) do a great job of making it feel a lot lighter, but when it starts to lean, you can really feel it. Gets scary in off-camber situations.

ok so in today's race there were a ton of off camber tight sections....at one point i hit a tree rut, stood my quad up on the grab bar, preceded to fall of the back and have it come crashing down on me...how i don't get more hurt, i don't know, i have like God's protective sheild over me...even though it does hurt like heck, but i couldn't imagine that happening with a utility.

i want a rekluse for my 400ex. someone tell them to make it please. maybe then i wouldnt get arm pump so bad.

:aargh::laugh::biggrin::realmad::wink:

FUTURE of ATVS is the name of this thread. TB was just trying to ask you nicely to stay on topic. It would have been been on topic if yous said Kawasaki needs to lower the Brute force. So please either start a new thread about that topic and respect this thread. I say start a new thread about because some BruteForce riders might agree with you.

TB sorry to hijack your thread, but it looked like nobody else is going to back you up.

Sorry...wasn't trying to be an a-hole or anything. Looking back I see that it was sort of off-topic, but it can all be related back to how I think that some utility quads need to be lighter in the future...which does have to do with the future of quads.

I would like to see a company make a big bore sport quad but with different options. Such as if you are a desert racer comes with some good desert terrain tires and a bigger tank. Someone who rides dunes, comes with lots of weight shed and sand tires all around. They could do the gearing different for each, different shock setup as far as stiffness and all that.

they got the IRS, S, and a 450. one for trails, one for sand, one for track.

      Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
      My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
      We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
      Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
      Thanks for your help and ride safe.
      BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

      I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

      Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!
