I just brought home a used 2005 Yamaha Big Bear 400 4x4. It needs front wheel bearings, and a new choke cable. I think i can handle those two items. However, when i went to look at it, it ran good, shifted good, brakes all workds great, but at home when i started it, it would idle nice, but when i gave it gas it seemed like it was flooding out and would die. If i just gave it a little throttle it built up RPMs but any more throttle it began dying out again.
any suggestions why it's doing that?
I'm looking for a service manual, but forum rules say i have to make 10 posts..lol
oops...i just realized i posted in the wrong section of the forum!!

2004 Bombardier Outlander 330 does anyone know if you have to split cases to get to the stator? Have a costumer who wants a quote but from the parts diagram makes it look like stator is in the cases. is any one familiar with this machine?

Hello, Im looking for some help instead of spending hours on You Tube. Got roped in to buying the above Kazuma 110 I think. I've worked on all brand of autos.
thought I could tackle this butttt. No start no spark. My stator is producing a faint light by ground. Buy the meter I get 337 ohms on the
black, red wire. Some of my questions, Can I bypass everything to look for spark. Can the plunger type kill switch be removed an both wires put
together to help achieve spark that is behind the seat. My black red to the cdi has no power to it when turning over. Should i put some form of
lubricant in the plug hole or are these motors moving the oil enough and should the plug be in or out or does it matter when looking for spark?
I'm thinking the wire for the coil from the cdi should light up the test light and it does not. (Forget its color at the moment). I hope there's not a limit
of questions cause i will have more and Im not much for typing. Any help would be just jim dandy and greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve

I own a few older quads mix of kinds a couple of Yamahas, a Honda, can-am a Kawasaki, they are older quads but in good shape the question of the day is....... what's the best way to polish up the plastic?
I have found that Dollar General mold remover is good to get the black stuff off the plastic works good, but was wondering how you polish up the plastics on yours.

Was told there was some good information on this forum, so I'm here engaging in some good ole conversation haha. Bought a buggy aka shitcart for 100 dollars. Thing was a woods toy for the past owner. Used and abused until she went boom and was left in a field to die. All things considered that may be an exageration, but the top end of the warrior 350 that was on board was absolutely mangled. Piston and head assembly were totaled. Have a new jug, piston, and head assembly, but struggling to get the crankcase back together without the transmission binding. Can share pics that are on my phone if anyone is interested in seeing this shitty story unfold.
