Im looking to buy the itp ag tire kit. the tire has 2'' lugs and the dimensions are 27/7/14, i was wondering if that kit would be good fo the deep gumbo mud. i would thing that it would because its thin and would sink to the bottom then grab.

well i have some pretty good mud tires now its just i have a 350 and most of the top brand name mud tires like vampires, mud machines ect... there to wide and it tskes a lot of power to spin them when there in nasty gumbo, the agricultural tires are thin but still have some very nice tread to get me through it.

wat brand atv do u have? the agricultural tires are good but those lugs are close to each other and they will probably get all gunked up with mud even though they are 2 inches deep. the outlaws are great tires but then again u said u had a 350 and u probably will loose power especially in the mud and u probably wont go anywhere. u could get the "zilla" tires which have close to the same lug pattern as the mudzillas but they are not as heavy and they still get u through the mud. and they come in smaller sizes.

well on the ag tire page iit sais they are very good self cleaning and very good in wet muddy conditions like on rice patty fields i have a yamaha bruin 350 4x4

If u can try to get wide tires like 9 inchs in the front and 11 in the back because it will allow u to have more stability and when u get into the mud u have a wider set of teeth to sink into the mud.. Are u planning to get anything for the engine like a clutch kit or k&n power kit? If u want to know anything else I will try to answer it to the best of my ability...

i already have installed a clutch kit for it and now that i got it in propperly it helps a buch it no longer bogs down in deep mud wit 26'' stock polaris sportsman tires. but i don't have a k and n power kit my dad doesnt think an air filter or rejetting will make a difference i bought the clutch kit my self

the K@N fliter helped my banshee wake up!!!! as u allready know the better your motor breaths the better it will run and the K@N did help me in the hp dept also.

well i like to mud the most but i also trail ride. but in sense that i have a clutch kit do u think i can ride some outlaws cause wit that clutch kit it seems like i have a low range on my atv. and i probably get a k&n air filter and pre filter that will help out somemore.

il probably put 10s all the way around so i can mud better, but it will make life harder while trail riding because there is less stability like u said but do u think my atv will bog down in deep mud witt 26s.

Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
Thanks for your help and ride safe.
BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!
