Favorite ATV Tires?

Looking to see if anyone has any input on ATV Tires? 1998 Suzuki quadrunner LTF250

Depends on the location you ride. Muddy, soupy, muck and snow.... tires with more of a paddle design. Dry, hard dirt, rocky and ice...... more towards knobby design.  Mfg? whoever is on sale.

I like Kenda Bear Claw , but i dont need the big aggressive paaddle tread, need it occasionally, but they dont ride very good and not great for everyday use. The Kendas i buy have more of a lower profile tread but still enough to bite into the ground.

The round profile/cross section nobbly tyres they come out with are the best riding and give the best steering. Wide flat profile tyres cleated tyres effect the steering and handling badly, and are slightly harder on the steering/suspension and wheel bearings.

Unless you ride exclusively in really soft mud(or snow perhaps which I know nothing about), I'd recommend the standard round nobbly tyres.

 

And yeah.. Kenda are a good make.

I also like stock size tires, even though i run Bear Claws i stick with the OEM stock size . I feel the manufacturer decided on this size for the ATV for safety reasons.

Depends where u going to ride, stock works good in my opinion.

I've got the same Quad, 96 model, I've used Sun F tires only, best I've had on a 4x4!

Thanks for the info , i generally use Kenda Bear Paw, but the SunF are getting very popular, with a great aggressive tread design.
