First off, welcome back to the site. Second, am I correct that there is only one belt, or is there one belt for high and one for low. If there is one for both I would say it's your tranny. Not familiar with that set up, just trying to help.

low gear is more torque... but i dont know wat u r asking? wat is it doing wen in high gear

When in high it just sits there and wont move. Engine runs fine. no problems with the spark plug. Dont know if it has one or 2 belts

I bought it new. We went riding and everything was fine. Took it out again a month later. Took it off the trailer and rode down a hill. Tried to come back up the hill and it wouldnt pull up the hill. The bike has been serviced only once because I drive it very little.

i had a similar problem that my dealer told me the reason... wen u switch from neutral to high there is a fork that in gauges the gear. if i remember correctly.. and it just might not be in gauging until u hit low... the same problem happened because my rpms were to high so i couldn't get it in gear.... i don't think it is as serious as ur transmission being bad i think it just might need some adjusting..

i thought my exuast pipe had just fallen off but now i need a new gasket:skeptic:

Did it fall off at the head? or at the silencer? The head being the part that directly bolts to the motor. The silencer is the part under your rear fender.

at the silencer, i didnt notice it so it squised the gasket and the whoole thing almost fell off, we had to make a gasket so my dad made one out of a gasket from his car, now we should get a real gasket, it came without one when we bought it. (wonder why:mad:)

There is no gasket between the head pipe and the mid pipe. The mid pipe is the piece that comes off the silencer. It should just overlap the head pipe. Usually held on by springs or some kind of clamp.

That's exactly what I meant by grommet.

Easy there old man. I was making sure the kids knew what a grommet is. We know you and I can do some jimmy rigging. I actually fixed my exhaust pipe in the middle of the Mexican desert with a hack saw and a piece of chain link fence. The metal tube frame, not the links.

I had a major case of back pressure or something, I blew my mid pipe out. It split right down the middle. So we cut the fence apart at the top where the vertical bar does a 90 degree turn to become the horizontal bar. It got me back with out going deaf.

I hear ya, We had to cut the end of the pipe so we could stretch it over the header pipe and the silencer.

No Duct tape. Hose clamps.

where did u get those??? the flying monkey dropped them off???
