Ok recently got a "what i believe" is a 2003 rancher 4x4.   I believe it is a 350te. Obviously a project. Wire harness was in bad shape.
Reconnecting wiring harness. Have one harness that does not match...... the end or front side of the harness has this harness. .... appears to be the one that connects to the dash./ LED indicators... The only wires (indicators) that I can find that does not have a match to the main harness connection. These 2 harnesses do not appear to go together . it appear the harness or dash cluster were changed and don't match. Dash/indicator light wire harness was cut off. Attaching pics of both connections. Is there a way to make this work or do I need to buy a new harness or cluster?

So the plug is attached to the harness in the frame and the loose wires are connected to the dash assembly, hard to follow in your description. Are the wire colors the same. Im assuming you want to cut out the plug and attach the wires directly. It may work if you know which wires goes where, but not sure how you could be sure of that or if the dash is even correct for that model. I think i would try to find the correct dash with the correct plug and even then if its not for exactly the same year and model may not work. There are so many electrical things going on there that change from model to model and year to year. Thats the answer that will most be more likely to work the simplest. I dont always do things the simplest way, i would not cut out the plug but maybe see if i could figure out the wiring with multiple wiring diagrams but that is my curiosity taking over and i cant really describe how to do that, its a lot of trial and error.

      Hello all!
I was given a 2000 Suzuki Quadrunner 500 (Quad 500 Runner?) and its current state is a bit of a mystery!
Kept indoors but hasn't been run in 5 years.  We're not trying the engine until the gas is replaced, and the tires are reinflated. But the previous owner said their only issue was stalling when shifting to reverse without giving some throttle.
      I'm optimistic!  See y'all around!
