I'm guessing that the start up message is the service reminder? If so, here's what Gemini had to say:

To reset the "Maintenance Required" indicator on your 2015 Can-Am Outlander L 500 Max, follow this exact button sequence:
  1. Turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine.
  2. Press the Mode/Select button on your gauge until the display shows the odometer.
  3. Cycle the high beam switch from high to low 3 times quickly (within 2 seconds).
  4. Turn off the ignition.
The next time you start the machine, the message will be cleared.

Thanks for the info, that will come in handy.
But in my case, the previous owner had their name programmed in by the dealer so on startup, their name scrolls across the screen. I’d like it to revert back to the factory startup message.

As VR described this should preform a hard reboot and allow you to and allow you to enter your new information, the button sequence could be off depending on the cluster, your service manual should describe the button sequence needed for the particular cluster you have.

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot and report back

Hi guys, I have a 2004 big bear 400. Last winter while plowing the driveway, I heard a loud pop from the left side of the engine. It continued to run as I looked for leaky fluid, but then died shortly after backing it up and won’t start now. The oil light comes on when I try to start it, no noise or anything else.
No blown fuses that I can find.

Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer.
There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!
