  1. Unsure if this applies to motorcycle batteries but with vehicle AGM batteries it is only recommended to have those fitted to vehicle's that have start/stop feature. The charging is slightly different for the AGM's compared to the standard SLA's. I would go for the more expensive battery as it will last longer than the cheaper one. LOL: just looked at the date of the last post, I guess better late then never. 🙂
  2. 2006 Suzuki King Quad 700 at the moment, Wellington, NZ.
  3. I'm guessing that the start up message is the service reminder? If so, here's what Gemini had to say: To reset the "Maintenance Required" indicator on your 2015 Can-Am Outlander L 500 Max, follow this exact button sequence: Turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine. Press the Mode/Select button on your gauge until the display shows the odometer. Cycle the high beam switch from high to low 3 times quickly (within 2 seconds). Turn off the ignition. The next time you start the machine, the message will be cleared.
  4. Same in NZ, dealers more expensive.
  5. Nothings an absolute must but they do make life easier! Get a universal pulley holder if you don't have one.
  6. I wouldn't spay any dielectric grease on the brushes, may cause issues at a later date if that grease gets on the commutator.
  7. in NZ from what I can see, the suzuki's seem hold better value
  8. Дружище! Воспользуйся Google Translate и переведи свой пост на английский перед отправкой, если хочешь, чтобы кто-нибудь ответил на твою тему. Mate! use google translate and change your post to English before submitting , that if you want someone to reply to your thread. Did you check/test fuel pump? If you apply power to direct from battery does the fuel pump work? Also check your fuses! Google AI says code AC96 = system voltage being too high (overvoltage) or a malfunctioning voltage regulator. Fault AC99 = Start/Run Not Possible, most likely related to the AC96 code.
  9. Here's what google translate says: The ignition coil has two wires: a positive and a control wire, which is controlled by the ignition switch. If there's a stator, then we're talking about the voltage generator or the starter. What are we looking for? If there's no positive on one wire of the ignition coil, then we need to check where it's coming from. I think it'll go along the battery-ignition switch-fuse-ignition coil contact circuit, with the second wire from the ignition coil either going to the ignition switch or to the contacts in the distributor.
  10. I don't think that bike has electric start?! If you have spark its not the kill switch. Is the spark plug wet when you pull it out? When you cleaned carb did you replace gaskets or re-used the old ones?
