GPR Dampeners

Recommended Posts

Hey you all I just thought I would share my nightmare with GPR.

1) It took me 3 months to finally receive after multiple back orders

2) When i received it, the very first sentence in the install instructions was, may need to buy a new steering stem. (Not indicated when buying)

Sure enough, my nice chrome Lonestar Racing steering stem only has a spread of 2 and half inches. The GPR requires a 4 inch spread. So after a long discussion by my neighbor (owns a shop i orer parts through) with the distributor, they would not take the $500 GPR back. So now i have to buy a new Roll Design Steering stem just so i can use the GPR. Also anyone with a banshee, there will be a nice lsr steering stem for sale in the next month.

I asked GPR if they made a adapter plate where the steering stem can bolt onto along with the GPR. Only problem would be ensuring the plated is thin enough for the bolts. On top of that something stainless or billet so it wont rust. My neighbor submitted paperwork to roll design for dealership so i will get the new one at about 50% of cost. So I will just do that I think to ensure everything goes flawless and just sell the old one that is still practically brand new. Thank you for the offer! Tim

Hello, im looking for some input on this situation i have. My 94 Mojave has no spark, and i have no idea what it is. Ive replaced/tested the magneto, the pickup coil, cdi, the ignition coil. Even the key and Killswitch. I haven't tested the harness its self, but i have tried another harness and still nothing. The only thing i can think of is the fly wheel itself. I have found a lot of metal shavings in the fly wheel and have cleaned it the best I could. But nothing happened afterwards. I am truly stumped here and hoping some of yous could shed some knowledge/ideas that could help get this thing to fire.

My 2014 750 king quad stalls sometimes when I touch or turn the handlebars, the problem has gotten worse,my machine has 475 miles and is only trail ridden,I have a new factory battery and i have 14.2 volts when the quad is running and 13.3 on the battery when not running, also using a multimeter there is no change in volts when turning the bars until it does stall,If I pull the 40 amp power steering fuse it will not stall.......I've been told its the ECU,Hate to buy one if thats not the problem, but its kinda leaning towards that,,,,,need some opinions.

If you had to choose one mod that you couldn't live without, or had to recommend one what would it be?

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.
