Riding Buddies ( dogs )

Recommended Posts

Someone mentioned puppy in another thread, Was wondering if any of you all had riding buddies?

This is Grainger! He has been riding since he was 10 weeks old! We have created a monster:aargh: You can not start ANY machine without Grainger on or in it:rolleyes:

When the trails get rough, he will get off and run ahead to wait, but if you don't stop to pick him up, you get cussed out big time:laugh:

I love herding dogs!

This is my German Shepherd Shasta riding a waverunner with me...

She would also ride in my golf cart when I had one! Now she will trot alongside as long as I don't go too far or too fast (she is 9 years old now)

And this is my little guy McGee ready to go out with me on the sand dunes!

My other German Shepherd Storm won't get near a running ATV, but will follow or run out to the side of my quad!

Everyone loaded up ready to go!

She stays around camp when I take off too quick, but she followedd me once to the bathroom at pismo since I was still in sight.

I haven't taken her out for a ride, cause it'd be rather unsafe for her to ride or run with a sport quad.

But here is the best pic ever taken of her...Sitting on the Oregon Coast.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend,
While riding my quad just quit, I mean dead. No life on the dash, no crank and obesity no start.
Had a quick look under the plastic, batt reading 12.7v power at the key switch.
Changed the power pack, still no luck.
      Anyone else have similar problems?
I don't see a fuse box/panel, is there fusible links in the system? If so where di I start looking?

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

It's been a long time since I have used a forum, I was the admin of one for quite a few years, had thousands of daily active members, with lots of crazy posts and spammers, so I salute the admins. Anyway, just waving my greasy hands, Hopefully I can help others out.

Hey all got a Kawasaki 300 that's seen better days I'm looking to get running.  But first, I'm working on a Honda 350 ES and mainly needing where are you all finding quality parts at good prices.  Atvs are really hot items around here right now and most of the folks wanting and needing them are not familiar with working on them.  I'm looking to find a good resource for information and if it works out well pass this group along to the folks I help to get them in the know how to get the most out of their machines.  Thanks in advance.
