Well it's almost the end of the year and AEM needs your vote!

AEM is inviting everyone to come and vote for who they consider the '2006 Amateur Racer of the Year' from their peers.

Currently a panel of 14 invited people who include Pro Racers, Print Magazine Journalists, E-Zine Owners & Journalists, Industry Vendors and select Peers have offered or agreed upon nominees.

This award is based on what the collective group has noted from the 2006 season. Each rider nominated is on this list for different reasons. And AEM is proud to let the world know that people are watching them.

This list of names will be complete on December 9th, voting starts on Dec 11th and voting ends on December 15th.

Although many racers will deserve this award only one will receive it. So look at the list of names, think it over and then start voting December 11th!

Congrats to Thomas Brown. The count and numbers are official and he is the

2006 AEM Amateur Racer of the Year!

Thomas' name was put in as a nominee by someone who holds him in high regard and others on the committee felt the same way. This was then backed up by his peers.

Congratulations Thomas, you have earned this award and from the entire AEM staff we hope you enjoy receiving this for years to come and we wish you a great future in the sport we all love.

Look for a full article and photos of his award in next months issue of ATV Exposed Magazine (www.atvexposed.com)

      Hi to all
Newbie here. Not new to ATVs. Look forward to learning a few new things and hope to maybe help some too.

Has anyone had experience with the installation of the Optional RH Side Panel Close Off Kit as shown as p/n 2207445 which is supposed to help control the heat on the right side on my legs?  Right now that panel is wide open with excess heat on my leg.

Hi. I just joined the community. I have a sheep farm and use a Polaris 500HO, Polaris 700efi and a JD Gator 825i for different jobs around the farm. I do all the repairs myself so I am sometimes needing some advice and maybe I can be of some help to others as well.

My first quad and I have a problem. I have a Kawasaki Bayou 300 1997. When I start it. It will go on high idle for about ten seconds before it goes down to low idle. It does this even when I don't touch the throttle or the choke.
Also, when I give it some throttle and let go. It will come back to fast idle for about ten seconds before it comes down to slow idle. Therefore I have to wait for it to slow up before I can shift. The throttle linkage drops right back to the stop on the carb buy the rpms stay up for a while. If you have any ideas what might be wrong please let me know. thank you Fred

Hi. I just bought an lt230 1993.  Ive started buying parts for a full rebuild.  But somehow beskepedal has been removed and pegs welded to where They are supposed to be screwed.    I was wondering if anyone have one and Could measure how far out the pegs are.  Like the peg the brake is put on and then peg outside of it.  And the one lower down.  So i can recreate them.
