What is the best paint for a swing arm. I know powdercoat would be the best, but I am looking for paint type that I can easily do at home.

I'm sure this has been tossed around on here numerous times but with the unveiling of the new KTM fuel injected 2 stroke. Could this be the first step in a come back for my beloved double ding ding machines. Ok lets hear it. Why do you like one or the other??? Myself, I always felt it was the throttle control and Powerband response with the 2 strokes. I know this sounds weird but on a 4 stroke, no matter size or model. I always felt like i was along for the ride instead of in control. I've spent hours on my buds 400EX, even took a new 450r for a spin. before they discontinued them. Blasters, Banshees, and a number of 125's, 250's and even one late 80's Honda XR250R... Results all the same. For me its a comfort and control that im used to with the 2 strokes.... and i love the smell of bean oil... So lets hear it. Im sick of arguing with same two people at work on this issue.

G'day guys, just wanted to ask some questions regarding the swing arm. First of all I just wanted to say that I am very impressed by the trx250 I can't believe its19 years old it is my daily driver I live in a rural coast town and it gets driven off-road every day and on pavement for a few kilometers  I've had it for two and a half years. 500 km away and I drove it back home for in 2 days and I had nothing go wrong. All I've had to change on it is some bearings and carbons in the starter.
Last week I changed the bearings in my swing arm because the left side was broken, I changed both sides. The left side and the frame had a bigger gap then normal, I made some tests shaking around the quad and it didn't seem to move so I thought I would keep an eye on it. Yesturday it started moving around and when I opened it up I found the right side bearing was broken. I've put a new bearing in and this time the gap on the left side is smaller then last week but it's still not as small as the right side. Both installations I've torqued the bolts correctly. If anyone has any ideas it would be really helpful.

Product warning:  Lighting products manufactured by Larson Electronics LLC  9419 E US HWY 175, Kemp Tx. 75143
Hi, I’m G. Randel and I have a small business that does boat and motor service and repair and rigging. I also service and repair off road 4 wheelers, lawn equipment and small engines. I have been doing this type of work for over 40 years, so I have accumulated some knowledge about the accessories and products needed to support those things.
I recently installed two high intensity LED lights on the T-top of one of my customers boats. He bought the lights after he had done considerable research and consultation with manufacturers. He wanted to make sure he was getting something that would serve his needs which was to see where he was going at night while underway on the water.  He decided on lights manufactured by Larson Electronics out of Kemp, Texas. They were reported to be rugged, weatherproof, waterproof to 3 meters and were warrantied against workmanship or component failure under normal use for 3 years. One light quit working within 10 months, the other is still working after about 16 months.  I removed the defective light and sent it back to Larson Electronics for warranty repair or replacement and they denied the warranty claim. Their reason was “failure was due to environmental damage”.
At the time of purchase these lights sold for over #365.00 each and the representative that my customer talked to at Larson Electronics assured him that these lights were well suited for the purpose in which they were going to be used.
So, if you are looking for electronics, as in lighting, for your ATV, SUV. Boat, or any other outdoor application you might want to keep in mind that Larson Electronics LLC
9419 E US HWY 175, Kemp, TX 75143 might not fulfill their warranty claims if you have a problem with their products.

I'm likely going to have to drop the swingarm on a 300FW. Are the lock rings and pivot bolts standard or left handed threads?  I looked at the service manual and it doesn't specify left hand so I"m assuming standard right handed threads.  Not sure though.  The last Yamaha I had apart was regular right handed threads but haven't had a 300 apart before.
