I have a race Kart that I brought back from England with me that is now up for sale. I am unsure about the chassis manufacturer but the thing is nuts! It has a Iame 2 stroke 100cc rotary valve engine that according to a major race company over there should produce about 25 hp. It has a brand new piston and rings in it that hasn't even been fired yet. It has 2 sets of tires and extra plastics. It has rear hydraulic disk brakes and is push start only. You could always throw another engine on there with some small mods. If you want to see it run, just look me up on myspace. There is a video on my profile of it on the track.       Have you ever purchased a quad from an impound auction?

      This is something I'm extremely curious about. Has anyone ever attempted to buy a quad (or any other vehicle) from an impound lot? I've always wondered if this could be a bargain, or a waste of time. Google searches do turn up some helpful results. Looks like the state of NJ holds auctions online which I'd be a bit hesitant about.
       
      My online searches haven't really turned up any results of anyone buying an ATV this way. I'd be really curious if anyone tried this, or knows someone who has. I've actually found a couple pages with online auctions for my state, but none had ATVs.

      Running engine without rear axle 2005 500 scrambler?

      I'm assuming, it's alright to test the engine after adjusting valves without the rear axle installed? Can someone please verify this? I'm waiting on axle parts and wanting to get that done while waiting. Thanks! 🙂
