Internet sales

I'd like to start by saying do your homework when buying a quad off the net. Find out how long that company has been in business. There is a lot of sites that show up for a couple of monthes and disappear just as fast as they appeared. Call them before you order, to see if you can get a hold of them, because if you can't reach them when you are buying how are you going to get a hold of them for parts, or warranty. When you see a low price check to see if "Rush shipping" cost extra, some companies wait till they have many orders to save money, and they might not ship yours out for weeks. Look to see if there warranty costs extra. If you or someone you know is thinking of getting a quad off the net please do your home work.

I do sell quads on the internet, and I felt compelled to wright this, because we are getting two or three calls a day from people that ordered from other companies. They ordered there machine or machines online, and after not hearing from them after weeks cancelled the order and called us for help. Or they are looking for parts for machines we don't even sell, because they can't get a hold of the company they bought it from.

There are good companies out there, so even if you are thinking of buying from someone else feel free to give me a call. Our business hours are 9-5 Monday - Friday Central time and are phone number is 866-kid-quad. Ask for Chopper or leave a message for ext 11.

For some other things to look for please read our why buy from us. Here is a link to it. http://www.kidatvs.com/why.php

I hope this helps.

having an issue with the unit when running under a load up a hill or in high gear, seems like the belt is slipping, there is a clapping sound coming from the primary clutch like it releases and snaps back in. i don't think I should have a noise like that. this is a friends unit and he has already replaced the primary twice with the same result.
not sure where to look next

My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems

Has anyone else had an issue on older king quads where the oil would leak from the top of the head (due to a failed gasket) and drip onto the hot exhaust? Mine got so hot one time it caught fire. Just wondering if this is a common issue, as I've seen the same thing happen on multiple bikes that were the same model.

My 2014 750 king quad stalls sometimes when I touch or turn the handlebars, the problem has gotten worse,my machine has 475 miles and is only trail ridden,I have a new factory battery and i have 14.2 volts when the quad is running and 13.3 on the battery when not running, also using a multimeter there is no change in volts when turning the bars until it does stall,If I pull the 40 amp power steering fuse it will not stall.......I've been told its the ECU,Hate to buy one if thats not the problem, but its kinda leaning towards that,,,,,need some opinions.
