ok guys need help tryin to figure this one out, pics of the bike are on the rebuild thread, but i just realized that its a four stroke and not a two stroke. Did they make 250's in four stroke form or is ithe bike a 230? (i was told by several people that its a 250 but still not sure)

Yes they made a 250 Quadsport, but the 250 Quadsport was first. The 250 Quadsport was to compete against the Honda 250X and Kawasaki Mojave. Both Quadsports were 4 strokes not to be confused with the 250 Quadracer, witch is a 2 stroke.

It appears what you have is a LT230 Quadsport. The LT230 were from the 85-88 best I can find but I really thought that they started earlier. The 250 Quadsports were made in the 89-90. They stopped making sport quads for awhile after 1992 which was the last year for the LT250R.

Just curious if anyone will be watching 2026 FIFA World Cup and if you have any favorites. Obviously would like to see the US win, but still going to try and watch as many matches/countries as I can with guys like Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe and the teams they represent.

OK, so I'm a boxing fan...anyone watch last night's fight between Manny Pacquiao & Ricky Hatton?

The PacMan is just too fast and too accurate. Floyd Mayweather just announced yesterday that he's coming out of retirement to fight Marquez in July. Maybe we'll get a December fight between Pretty Boy and the PacMan?
So, Manny has convincingly beaten up DeLaHoya (just announced his retirement from boxing) and now Hatton...

Did a top end rebuild, honed .010 over, new piston, rings, valve seals, etc. When i re assembled i only had like 30 psi of compression but then after it sat all night i now it seems to have gained some somehow, there is much more resistance pulling it over and i even got it to fire for a few pops. Issue i got is that it makes a loud squeak noise through the intake i believe (goes away when throttled so something with carb area) and it seems to not want to run well. I took head cover back off and timing seems fine so im not sure if something is sticky and that's why i got some change over time or maybe the valve lash is messed up after doing all this, i did get another cam for it but i wouldnt think it would make enough difference to need to re lash. Any insight on next step would be appreciated, i will be looking up how to do lash on these because it is a very weird angle to slip a feeler gauge in.
Actually cam is slightly off now that i look at the picture, thought it was good while looking in person. Hmm.
