OK, so I'm a boxing fan...anyone watch last night's fight between Manny Pacquiao & Ricky Hatton?

Manny-Pacquiao-Ricky-Hatton.jpg

The PacMan is just too fast and too accurate. Floyd Mayweather just announced yesterday that he's coming out of retirement to fight Marquez in July. Maybe we'll get a December fight between Pretty Boy and the PacMan?

So, Manny has convincingly beaten up DeLaHoya (just announced his retirement from boxing) and now Hatton...

Well, we all know what happened to that one....poor poor Ricky Hatton.

He's been drowning his misery in beer and now drugs from what I read.

Since then, the Pacman has defeated Joshua Clottey...now Antonio Margarito is next on November 13th.

I just watched 24/7 Episode 3 on HBO and Margarito looks very strong...

Lol...yes he did. Floyd ran way too much and those judges scorecards were too much in his favor. For the price everyone paid, we should have seen someone get beat up not run track n field!

I ended up subscribing to DAZN after Canelo Alvarez signed with them and HBO sports dropped boxing. I still have showtime and subscribed to espn+

The GGG ended up signing with DAZN, so for $9.99 a month its worth it. Maybe just pay the $99.99 per year as its less than two PPV fights. Already watched Canelo vs Jacobs which was great.

Anyone going to watch the Joshua vs Ruiz fight tonight or GGG find next Saturday?

I watched a few minutes of the fight. I could not believe the outcome. He looked out gunned but just goes to show you that if you land a few in the right places the mighty can fall!

Especially in the heavyweight division!

He’s super heavy lol. Didn’t look like he was in the shape of a heavyweight fighter by any means. I wonder what he’s thinking on this Monday morning! I’m not sure what the purse was but it had to be decent $

He's a little chunky there but boy he can punch. Round 3 was insane! There'll be a rematch in November, there's a rematch clause. Saturday GGG is fighting, one of my favorites!

I'm a fan of GGG, so his return to MSG last night was pretty good. Back at it knocking his opponents out. Waiting for a Canelo vs GGG III now...

I have a 1985 Suzuki LT230 GE quadrunner.  It has been stored in a shed for at least the last 15 years and has very low mileage.  Although the tires look and feel great... should I consider changing them since they are 38 years old?  I don't intend to ride to far or too fast but I don't want to have to walk out of the bush.  Any input would be welcome.

Hello everyone, I just picked up an 02 LT-F250F the other day and have been in the process of tearing it down to fix some stuff- one of which was the cylinder base gasket leaking like a sieve. Well, I know why that is now, and I also discovered that someone had been in there before. I didn't take pictures, but it looks like it was probably run low on oil at some point, the cam journals and the "bearings" (for lack of a better term) in the head and the valve cover are totally wiped out, very deep grooves.  From what I know it's very difficult to repair aluminum in this way, so I'm trying to figure out where to go next.

      1. Have someone grind down the head and valve cover and fit actual bearings in since the aluminum is screwed, and have the cam ground down to match.  I have no idea what this would cost.
      2. Buy a replacement head+cam+valve cover.

#1 I was hoping someone might have some advice on, but #2 seems like it'll (probably) be the more cost effective option.  However I'm running into some difficulty, it seems like the 2001 and 2002 models specifically use a different head part number,  11100-19B10, instead of  11100-19B01 like for all earlier models.  What exactly is the difference between them? There are obviously far more of the earlier heads because it ran for over 10 years.  Are they actually interchangeable? I've also noticed there are heads from the LT250EF that has 4 valve heads but also otherwise look identical.  Would those work as well possibly?  I'd like to not have to drop $500 on machine work or new heads on a $1300 quad that I'm already putting a bunch of new parts on.  Oh, and it has a new piston and the cylinder itself looks pretty good too, as I said someone was in here before me.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll post pics of the carnage tomorrow.
