I am working on a project for our community and someone has donated a LT230S for us to fix up for the kids.

However, what they didn't tell us was that the "crack" in the crankcase was a 1.5" gaping hole, and that it was missing many many more parts.

So we are looking to find somewhere we can acquire parts really cheap. Since we can not start taking monetary donations yet all of the repairs are coming out of our own pockets.

Does anyone know other engines\trannies that will fit in this frame? Maybe that would open us up to some more options to get it fixed up.

Thanks,

The only motors that would be a really easy swap would be the 250 quadsport that succeeded the 230, or one of the 230 quadrunners, both motors are essentially the same as the 230s motor except the 250 has a slighly larger displacement and the 230 quadrunner motor has an auto clutch and electric start with a pull start backup. Ebay is always a good place to find cheap parts. Service Honda has good prices on OEM parts. Also, I ran across this site a while back, they specialize in 230 Quadsport parts.

As the title says, I've got a crankcase full of fuel / oil to deal with and figure I'll just start from the top and move through the system.  Going to start with a rebuild of the petcock and then the carb if the problem isn't fixed with the petcock rebuild.  I figure I'll go with a Moose kit unless others with experience recommend another brand (All Balls, etc.)
      Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

Yesterday I got a UForce 1000 as my first bike and I am wondering if there are any owners that could advise where I can find budget parts and accessories for it.
I tried looking StarknightMT, but the filtering is a bit unreliable, so direct links or exact names are much appreciated.
I'm mostly interested in sliders and side cases, but any advices for "must haves" are welcomed.
      Thank you!

      Good Morning!
Has anyone had a problem with the small aluminum 90 degree elbow popping out of the valve cover and blowing oil all over the place? It looks like it is simply pressed in and will most certainly repeat the offense. Any experience you all can share with this issue?
      Thanks in advance.

      Hello all!
I was given a 2000 Suzuki Quadrunner 500 (Quad 500 Runner?) and its current state is a bit of a mystery!
Kept indoors but hasn't been run in 5 years.  We're not trying the engine until the gas is replaced, and the tires are reinflated. But the previous owner said their only issue was stalling when shifting to reverse without giving some throttle.
      I'm optimistic!  See y'all around!
