Hello Everyone,

We are trying to start a small group of youth riding ATVs to show them the outdoors and give them a taste of something they can do other than just sit on the couch, play video games, watch TV and text message their friends.

Our motivation to start this project has been the increase of juvinile crimes, vandalism, drinking & drugging that has been rising in our neck of the woods.

We are trying to find people who have broken but fixable or old atvs that they no longer use that they could donate to this project. We could also use any information you can give us on ATV junk yards or random trashed ATVs that people might not be using and are just letting go to waste.

I know this isn't a nation wide search, but I was hoping maybe this would draw some attention to what we are trying to do in our area and possibly get a spark going in others to help in their community some way.

If you want some more information about how you could help us ( in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma or Louisiana ) please consider dropping us a line at [email protected] or Help Fuel The Passion.

Thank you for reading this post and for any help or information you can give us.

Thanks Admin for allowing me to post this!

That is excellent man, I wish you and those kids the best of luck. I think that ATV riding is a terriffic way to get kids interested in something besides what is getting them in trouble. A good friend of mine just kicked a bad drinking habit. He turned to riding instead, and now he is doing much better. You can't get him off his Blaster for nothin', but he hasn't had a drink in about 8 months since he got it.

I know everytime we take our kids out they havent a clue what time it is, could care less about food or the sand that is in their teeth from the ear to ear smile on thier faces.....All they care about is Gas:laugh::yes:

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

Hi my name is Greg and I just acquired a free 2000 yamaha kodiac 400 4x4 with the ultramatic transmission that does not run. I plan to get it going and use it around my property

Bought 4 wheeler for kids. Used to run and soon as it was put in gear it died. I have put new carburater, new plug and battery. The neutral light won't come on. I replaced the solenoid, then the positive battery cable and today put new relay assembly on. Still no neutral light. Not getting any juice and I don't know why.

I recently purchased a complete lt230s for$50. It was missing the kick starter gears which I got off eBay for $18. I’m trying to install the gears which after reading different threads about having it timed. I have it all timed but now it acts like engine is seized up but I know it’s not. What could be going on??? Any insight would greatly be appreciated.
