Well this month we didn't do so well at the mud bash. We bearly made it out of the red in profit's. Couldn't afford a radio station to come out but they did advertise on the radio. (It would of been $2400 to come out there for a boardcast, Than $350 to advertise on radio) Had Palmer's mud bash shirts in different colors Orange,Pink, and Dark Green. Also got Hat's this month. ( talked about it in last Palmer's mud bash topic. )

.

Left the house about 6:00-6:30am, and got to the perryville exit about 7:30-ish to eat at McDonalds there, and had to do another 20-30minutes of backroads to the house. So got there about 8:30am and was 2nd people there. People started showing up at 9am. Also since the crowd was so small this month people started leaving around 3pm, and was cleared out by 7pm. So the employees had there own little party, and didn't leave till midnight, and didn't get home till 2am.

To smurfblue3:

I know you was there because I marked your red suburban. I didn't know which person was you. You hauling your dodge or the suburban so I didn't ask but I should of did because I was mostly busy the rest of the day. So next time if you see a guy marking trucks tell me what your be driving next time before you go.

Nice parking!!!

Well girls, and the boys had a chance to win prizes in this muddy event. Someone throws in the football, and the first person with it on the way back get a prize.

This was a picture before I almost had it stuck in 1 of the holes in the back. Somehow 4wheeldrive didnt kick in till the front tires touch the dirt.

Anyone  carrying  a power box when  camping with their ATV?  I built  a custom  one.  I  used a  marine  battery box that  has 2  50A Anderson Grey connector  outputs (  changed one of the greys to a red), an accessory socket  and2  USB outlets, and a battery  voltmeter ..  I  added a Pure sine wave 1,000w inverter to it and A red 120A Anderson connector to the  output  posts.. To  charge the  100Ah LiFePO4 battery  I  put in the box, I added  a DC to DC charge adapter that I  made input connectors for to allow charging the battery from a vehicle's  accessory socket  or a solar panel.
It  was a fun  project.. Besides  having a  1,000w power box for  120V ac , USB   and  12v accessories using the 10 A socket.  I  have  50  A  Anderson connectors  and the 120 A connector  to run  things like a  12v electric outboard   for fishing  trips .  The LiFePO4  battery  only allows a max output of 100A  so  it  can't be used for something like jump starting,  but  it  is half the weight and  delivers twice the capacity of a lead acid battery running accessories..  Commercial pow2er  boxes  don't  deliver  high draw 12v output to run things like  the  electric outboards.   That's one reason  I  custom  built  mine.   One box that serves for both camping and fishing.

So.. it a weird one.. The quad surges as you go down the road. By the looks of my tracks, it's one wheel only. High range, low range, 2 wd , 4 wd.. It just doesn't matter..
You can see in the pictures the marks it leaves. That was in a straight line, with hardly any acceleration.
      Any ideas?

I have a 99 Yamaha bear tracker and I have converted the front brakes from drum to disc fairly easy but I cant figure out how to convert the rear with out hacking apart the rear arm. tried to use parts from a wolverine since the rear arms look similar but the caliper mount didn't line up on the bear tracker axle. Can anyone give me any clues or has anyone successfully converted the bear tracker rear brakes. I would even purchase a conversion kit if there is one. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any good mods for adding a radio, or Bluetooth speaker that's kid friendly? My son thinks he needs music while riding around.
