need new crank and rod for 2005 YFZ 450

Recommended Posts

Hot Rods is made by Wiseco, definately a quality product. By the way, I merged this thread into your original crankshaft thread since they were so similar, and added the year make and model to the title, please remember to add that info to the title when you start a new thread, it helps direct web searches to our site.

I"ll let you know how it turns out. I have decided to go with the WR crank and falicon "knife" rod. the crank is one pound lighter than oem and I called a tech with hot rod cranks and he told me that theirs are a little heavier than oem. I know of two other yfz's with the same crank and rod that i'm getting and they both rev like two strokes. I'll definitely know how it turns out.

I Ran across this video today comparing an aftermarket to OEM Carb on Suzuki Vinson, thought it might generate some interest, it is quite long but informative.

I’m looking for a top end kit for a Yamaha. I would like to see how well the engine runs before spending $6-$7 hundred on oem. Niche has complete kits from $1-$2 hundred.  Anyone have experience with Niche or similar Chinese companies?

      Hello there
I'm having a problem finding a quality carburetor for a 1993 Suzuki Quad Runner lt-f 250 2x4. I find a lot that have 3-4 star ratings. And all so far don't have the right throttle Cable inlet at the top. The last one I got 4 star on Amazon has a threaded cable sheath rest that could be partially drilled to work. I would prefer to get one I don't have to modify. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
