  1. I have a 2000 wolverine 350 that the woodruff key sheared on. In turn it banged up the woodruff key keyway. Is there any way to fix this without replacing the crank? I would have to replace the cdi rotor because it scraped up the inside of it. I just don't want to waste money on this four wheeler if it isn't going to be a permanent fix.
  2. Own a 1998 Big Bear 350 4x4. Riding last summer down the road full throttle and the 4-wheeler backfires, dies, and rolls to a stop. When I pull on the pull start handle and rope, it is very easy to pull like there is no compression. Novice when it comes to engine diagnosis and teardown but I am thinking maybe I broke the crankshaft. Any ideas??? Potential cost???
  3. Changed oil, removed and cleaned float, needle and seat, and carb, changed oil again, still, several gallons of gas seep I to crank case, any ideas please? Not very good at setting the float so I dread rebuilding the carb.
  4. Hello everyone I am new here. I bought a 2001 Suzuki KingQuad LTF-300F reciently. it has been running great, however I herd clunk, it turned off, I tried to crank it over but no go. any suggestions would be helpful!

  6. Hey I have a 2002 400ex I was riding it went mudding then on the way back home went through some water which was not that deep and when I got out of the water it cut off and wouldn't crank please help
  7. New to the forum---wondered if anyone had any thoughts on my start problem: All summer, my old 87 Suzuki starts great. Once the weather starts to cool, when I push the start button, i get nothing but a click. Maybe the 5th to 8th push, I may get a start out of it. Once running and warm, it starts fine all day. Next day...same issue (if it's a cool day) . Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
  8. does anyone know where to get the bushing for the left side of crankcase my crank burnt up and i just realized after scraping up the rest of the parts i needed that kawasaki doesnt list the bushing
  9. I own a 1994 Timberwolf 250 and use it around the farm, I use it a few times a week if the weather is OK. The other day I went to park it and put it in neutral and when it got there the green light went out. I know it is in neutral because I can push it where I need to, and the battery is good because the lights work fine, but when I hit the starter I get nothing. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Greg
  10. I own a 2003 Arctic Cat 400, 2 WD. I use this bike everyday in my farming operation. Recently I had to have the flywheel assembly replaced because the maginets came unglued and dissingrated. The total bill on this repair from an authorized dealer was $836.00. Now the machine will not start with the electric starter. I've checked all the fuses, and I have power from the battery to the fuse which controls the power to the starter. I can start the AC with the pull rope at which time all my gages and lights work, but prior to starting no gauges work and no lights. What's wrong and does anyone have any suggestions about fixing the problem ?
  11. I have yamaha banshee 1996 it has a hot rod 4 mill crank with wiseco 513MO6550 prolite piston.It has a ADA Racing 21cc Domes cut 2 mills and no spacer plate under jugs. Jugs are stock ported It is running about 190 psi in each. the squist in ea. is .048. What can I do to bring down the compression to run pump gas? thank you George F.

  13. Can anyone tell me which crank and rod to go with on my 05 yfz 450. Rod is bad in mine and want to upgrade to 06 but I don't want OEM. Thinking of WR crank with falicon rod. Is this a good decision?
  14. My friend has put his 500 back together and thinks he did not line up the crank balancer correctly. i do not know much about this bike, so can anyone help on this. He said there is a dot or knotch there, just not sure if he lined in back up correctly. Thanks
  15. So i racing sat. Aug.30th at a local track and on the third lap i hit the finish line jump and when i landed my foot must of hit the shifter and i bent the shaft, took a chunk out of my case. so after the race day was over i was talking to some of the other racers and they said the only was i would be able to race this bike the rest of the season without getting another LH case would be to use QUICK STEEL so i went to an auto parts store and picked up a tube of it, its like devcon so i mixed it up and put it over the hole and waited for about 4 hrs. and then came back to check on it and it was as hard as steel so i started the bike no oil was coming out of the motor but i could still feel air breathing out of the motor from the top part of the shaftso i put some more on there and hopefully it works untill the race season is over. ill keep everyone updated on what happens
