came home about 3:00 with both of my children. I noticed my Honda was missing immediately because I had left it out to dry the night before after i washed it. when i drove on up my driveway, i noticed my husbands canam was missing from the shop as well. a neighbor caught 2 males on each atv… white male on the canam, black male on the honda, and a honda pilot following behind them. YES, i have TWO that were stolen… the other is posted as well. Please help us find these bikes. No isurance due to being paid off, so i had cancelled insurance =(

So I want to bring my Bayou 220 back to the original green, and also replace the decals, which have been painted over. My brother painted everything, and I mean everything. The whole quad is painted in this hideous John deere green, with only some of the black parts not being green. I am repainting the dash, but what should I do to restore the original color? The plastic is infused with the color, so I was thinking maybe  just using something to attempt to dissolve the outer layer of plastic off to restore the green. What do you guys think?

Not satisfied with the commercially available versions, Jonathan recently built an ATV spring compressor.
In this video, he demonstrates using it to remove & re-install the spring on an ATV coil-over shock absorber.
Mistake in video - the coil-over shock is not quite a McPherson strut.
If you are inspired to build your own spring compressor, feel welcome to use any ideas from this video.
Thanks for watching! Resurgence Small Engine Inc.

It just sucks when your ATV goes missing and you can't find it, right? Hopefully you just forgot where you parked it! Now if someone took off with your ATV, that's a problem. You may never find it again and it'll be sold to someone with the VIN scraped off and you are out of luck. If it's worth some money you probably insured it, so good job and notify the authorities immediately. However, nowadays with the way mobile and GPS technology works, you can just equip it with a tracker (some newer ATVs are coming with GPS built in) so that if the day comes that someone makes off with it, you'll find your ATV and the thieves!
We looked around to see what technology exists out there and found the SPOT Trace! This unit retails for $119.95 and sells for around $99.99 online. We found it on Amazon for $97.99! Plus...you can get 50% off!

Does anyone use GPS, whether on a device or app to record their ATV trail rides? I have been thinking about a section where our members can upload let's say a .gpx file and share their rides on a google map for others to see where there are riding areas. Not sure if this is something of interest or how much it would be used, so just trying to get an idea.
Importing routes from files like xml, lmx, tour, freshroute, gpx, kmz, kml

I recently purchased a polaris Sportsman 500 and am looking forward to riding trails into the backcountry. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good, rugged GPS unit that will handle rough trails and be easy to read in the sun.

As my previous posts make quite clear, I'm very new to this and have no idea what I'm doing. However, I have many mechanically inclined friends, as well as a couple friends that rode/fixed ATVs growing up.
That being said, I'm getting completely mixed opinions on how often to change oil. The guy I bought my bike from (2008 KFX 450) said he changed oil ever couple rides. I've had a couple other people tell me that. Then I've had several other friends laugh at me for that suggestion. Tonight, I finally downloaded the owner's manual and, according to that, I'm supposed to change the oil every 90 days or 1100 miles. What the fck?
If I could get some assistance with this, I'd really appreciate it.
