Recommended Posts

During the highly popular DuneFest event held in Winchester Bay Oregon, Elka’s professional technicians were kept busy all weekend sharing their knowledge of suspension with all attendees. Hello
      Just bought a used 2014 outlaw 90.
I noticed at the top of the front shocks there is 2 mounting holes for the shocks. By the markings the shocks used to be mounted in the inner holes now the shocks are mounted using the outer holes. Googling I can't find the reason for these two holes.
2nd question is about the rear suspension
When I push the suspension down it is very slow at raising back up. Should it be slow? Is it a safety thing for kids so it doesn't bounce them off. The spring adjustment is on the second lob from softest. Has painted arrows so I'm guessing it's from factory.
Has anyone touched one of these machines and could tell me if this is normal?
      Thanks

Is it normal for a new ATV from the factory to have rock solid suspension? My 2018 Argo Xplorer is stiff as a rock,

I live in Vancouver Washington but don't have many riding options so I head to Bend Oregon there is a ATV park called East Fort Rock that offers 315 Miles of trails.  I have flexibility to ride during the week (which I prefer) rather then weekends if anyone wants to ride let me know I can be reached at [email protected] it is about a 3hr drive but I don't mind making it as long as the Government Camp pass is not snowing or iced in.

Hey ya'll, new here from the corn-belt in Iowa.  A buddy and myself are planning on coming down to Tennessee riding over the MLK weekend.  Never been riding out of state except Wisconsin.  Planning on going to the North Cumberland WMA area trails.  How is the riding around Brimstone and that area?  Any advice?  Looking at maybe picking up a trail GPS possibly as the actual maps do not look that great from what I've seen.  Will be riding a Can Am Commander 800R XT and my buddy has a Kawasaki Teryx-4.  Any information/advice/anyone want to ride would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.
