RAPTOR 700 or HONDA 450R?????????

this is my first post and i might hurt someones feelings....but first i want to know how you can even compare the two...i have both...i use the raptor for the dunes as it pulls like a damn beast...the 450 is for the track/trails.....they are both great quads and cantgo wrong...as for the 700xx..i have seen one, and i had my 450 it was in the woods...and the 700xx couldnt hang for sh&&*....but then again i dont see how that is good for the woods....not to sure on that quad...on a straight away that thing is fast...im not to sure if it could beat my raptor stock for stock....i know that he didnt beat my 450...so not to sure what else to say

Welcome Ramguy, the rider has A LOT to do with how the machine performs. With 2 equal riders the 700xx can barely take the 700R. But it takes more than just the 3 mods on the Honda to keep up with a 3 mod Raptor.

I do agree that the rider has alot to do with it....I must also say that by the time I am done with my 450 it will smoke the crap out of my raptor....mainly because I'm going to fix the 450 up first, it is alot cheaper and I ride more woods/track then I get to ride dunes, I'm still sticking with you can't go wrong with either quad......

That is a good way of putting it avidrider, that is why i think i have the best of both worlds...love the overall power of the raptor in the dunes....love the way the 450 handles everywhere else.....

      2006 Polaris Sawtooth No Spark

      Hello all, I have a 2006 Polaris Sawtooth with no spark. It has a dead battery but with a jump pack on it, it will still not Spark. Plug is good, Throttle ETC is not closed, Stator pick up coil seems to Ohm out in the correct range, Unsure how to properly check the CDI. And when ignition is on the Neutral and reverse light come on but after cranking just the neutral stays on. 
       
      Any help would be great,

      Hi everyone and thanks for reading. 
      My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on. 
      We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best. 
      Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.

      BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Looking for Quadrunner Flywheel Starter Clutch Gear race diameter

      Hi all, 

      I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

      Bell Crank Orentation 2000 Polaris Scrambler 400 2x4

      Does anyone know  the orientation of the bell crank for scrambler 400 2x4 it was not hooked up when I bought quad the way  i put it high goes into reverse and vise versa I flipped it 180 but that put  the shift rod at big angle and it just kinda grinds into gears so dnt think that is right either pretty sure it has to be the exact orientation and the rod adjusted accordingly but I cant seem to find it anyone knows please help
