1995 YFM350FX Wolverine 4x4 real axle question.

I am trying to fix a 95' YFM350FX Wolverine up for my grandson to have and the rear axel spline that fits into the ring gear in the real differential looks to be worn badly. I was wondering what rear axels will fit this year machine , (year to year) and or, do other models use the same rear axel/differential? Thanks for any and all help.

I found that the axel part number 4KB-25381-12-00 is for

Yamaha 96 up YFM350FX Wolverine REAR

Will also fit 95 model but you must use 96 up seals

So this is the route I am going to take . I found a new one on ebay

for $267.81 includeing the shiping.

Sounds about right. When I need to check replacement parts and compare years, I either call a dealer, or I hunt online at websites like bike bandit or other, that have oem diagrams.

Where did you find out that info? It will probably work, but you want to be 100% sure. The '95 axle is a bit more expensive, so I get why you would want to go that route. Hope everything works out for you.
