I bought a new after market battery for my 2004 Honda Rancher TRX400 a few months ago. it started and ran fine. I tried to crank it today and the power would not even come on. I took the battery out and took it to the parts store and they tested it and said it was good and just needed to be charged. They charged it, and I put it back in and hooked it up. It still does not get any power and lights dont even come on. Does anyone known what the problem may be??? Stumped in Mississippi

Start at the battery checking both pos (+) and ground (-) making sure all connections are tight and clean. The gounnd should go to the frame close by, then follow the pos(+) cable checking for tightness and cleaning all connnections if it goes into a solenoid figure how to energize it to keep following the path every direction it goes. This sounds like a of checking but is the only way to find where the power isn't going.

I have a 2009 Honda Rancher TRX420FA with shifting problems.
Usually it shifts ok when cold but after couple minutes it will stop shifting with no codes.
The 1st shift clutch oil pressure when in first gear is 74psi. The 2nd shift clutch oil pressure when in second gear is 74psi.
The 1st shift clutch oil pressure when in neutral is zero. The problem is when the tranny is in neutral the 2nd shift clutch pressure starts around 10-15psi and builds to 20psi. Is this normal?

Hey guys, so I've been messing with my quad, and between all the starts, the battery is dead. Is there a certain way to charge these? Can I just throw a trickle charger on it and call it a day? can i also jump it like a normal car with a battery pack or is that to much voltage

I have (2) sets of brand new plastics available for Honda Rancher 420 2014-2023. These are genuine genuine OEM Honda plastics. One set is white and the other set is green. The boxes these are in are too big to ship.(Unless you want to pay for it. If so, lookup your own shipping rates from 17325 and box size is 58"x35"x18").  $400
