Chase mnt dust bowl 2010

Recommended Posts

A very good friend of mine who lives 100mi away and has been working another 100mi further away called and wanted to ride his quad. I quickly got on the phone and we put together the dust bowl ride to the Chase mnt lookout.

Getting ready.

With the thunder storms at night there were quite a few lightning fires around, a lot of the smoke was coming in from No. California.

Dave and his bike. He had a hard time in the beginning but was very comfortable by days end.

There was a guy manning the tower that day so he invited us up to look around.

We had one minor mishap on the trip. Super Don lost his transmission so we headed back to help him load up.

After the load up a few of us ran over to a play area we call the moon. It is very soft and flowery in the summer and EXTREMELY slimy in the winter, not to mention it is steep all around. It is very technical and I will have to get better pictures of it sometime.

I see quite a few ads for that  Tribotex additive. It's kind of expensive, has anyone used it it their ATV or any other vehicle?

My king quad 700 runs rough when cold then won't start some times but not often when it's hot. And occasionally smoke's a lot when it's cold I'm guessing that's rings but I'm worried unless it's causing the other problems

      All help is appreciated thanks

My friends KQ 300 starts fine and runs, as soon as you put it in gear and try to accelerate its bucks and farts like crazy, not moving... I cleaned carb and it worked good for 1 day... now back to same problem.... could it be such as a bent valve????

2022 Sector 550, 414 miles on it and the gas gauge reads empty.  I topped off the gas and it didn't change.
There is no fuse that I could find.  No access at the gauge cluster.
Wiring on the top of the tank looks good, properly connected.
Could the sending unit in the tank be stuck or broken?
Has anybody removed the tank lid?  Any tricks?
      Any other ideas?
      Thanks for any help,
      Clyde

      Hi everyone.
Let me explain the thread title.
My husband and I are very active in the nudist community, and we have stayed at many and most of the mainstream nudist and clothing optional campgrounds in the USA. We are now approaching our retirement and would like to start a podcast to share those off the road / backwoods / little known camping areas where nudity is allowed. We have purchased a 5th wheel camping trailer with a rear garage for the ATV and now need some good reports on the one to buy.
We are most interested in a side by side unit but would love to get your thoughts.
Feel free to stop by and say Hi and ask anything you would like to better understand what we are looking for in an offroad unit.
Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you.
