You know the Ka Boom is nice, the crack of the 5.56 is a thrill but the jolt and push of the 12 ga mag or the Black Powder makes a girl close her eyes and bite her lip!  Ha Ha!🫦

BTW..keep ammo stock in the 4 (Four) digits. .just saying...CMP sells ammo.

Yep I have one like that.  I sweat a lot ...sorry i just do...I cannot wear it in Florida.  Its OK up north.  However, I have a shoulder holster that is all day confortable and nice when fishing.    But in Fla I don't wear enough clothes for the shoulder holster or the belly band.

I have a couple of shoulder holsters, but in warm weather I don’t want to wear a jacket to conceal it. In Georgia I don’t think you have to concealed carry, but open carry makes people nervous. A lady in a fast food place ask the manager to have a police officer leave because he was carrying a pistol, duh. Some people are ridiculous.

Never shot a big a big bore.  The 308 & M-1 are auto.  That's a bolt action or falling block--i guess. that would put a shock trough my whole body even in a prone position!  I cheat in the prone position i use a pillow.

BTW The 375 is known for its "push" ....OoooHH..🫦

It’s always nice to get a shock through your whole body especially in the prone position. Push it push it good.

Here is better pic of the four (4) brass 12 ga shells.  supposedly I am told P7304006.thumb.JPG.dadb8930cb9eee459af459157a497ef6.JPGto meet the Geneva Convention requirements for ammo. The "Span cans "  have M-I ammo  bandoleers ...From a Greek amory.

Need to get it organized and labeled.  I have a Black powder bullet collection of civil war ammo also.  Moving things get thrown into boxes..

No one has asked what the "pliers" are for.. You have to be a farm girl / guy to know.  However, having said that I am surprised that Gen x y or Z people haven't used these. LOL...OMG ..

I understand completely most of my stuff is in boxes in a dedicated closet, but i am not a collector most of what i have just found its way to me, from family members that are no longer with us. Of corse in my younger years i bought some new  and still do if it appeals to me. I go to gun shows a lot and occasionally buy something. I treasure my older guns just because of the story that goes with them. My father was an avid hunter he loved hunting so i grew up with a gun in my hand. I hunted with him until his death and the latter years when his health was failing i went with him just so he wasnt in the woods by himself, i bought him many guns over the years and they all came back to me after his death. I dont really hunt anymore, seems like the older i got killing things just didnt appeal to me.

I do have a friend that is a collector, he has these neat little plastic boxes that says Colt, Smith and Wesson, Ruger or whatever on them custom for the gun he puts in them, all handguns. Mostly older revolvers in perfect condition, he says he buys them for investment but i have new seen him sell one.

WHAT ARE THE PLIERS FOR!

Those are 'Hog Ringing Pliers'!  The pliers have groves in the tongs to hold an open Hog Ring.  So to Ring a hog one guy holds the hog (young hog) and the other guy sticks the pliers against the hog's  nose and clamps leaving the ring in the hogs septum.

I see a lot of young GEN X,Y or Z people with Hog rings ...LOL.  I should not talk. I have some piercings but not in my nose.

So here are .  My 'Big Push" guns...Sorry no 300 H&H..LOL My favorite big bang rifle is of course the Mosin Natgant  Mdl 91 ..54 mm at bottom , The SKS with the original Chinese stock lying above it.  Above that is my Para trooper 6.5 mm Carcano.  The M-1 is the best shooter of the four.

I love the feel of 54 mm when it cuts loose.

I love the feel of 54 mm when it cuts loose.  It is rock solid. The action is crip and tight.  I found it is more accurate with the bayonet extended...but that may just be me.  I love working the targets in the concrete pit on the 300 yd range with the lead popping the paper above my head.

The short barrel is handy moving around in tree stands or just sitting in the crotch of a live Oak.  I have my S&W trooper that i ry to get a hog with.  But if she / He gets out too far the 742 can reach out and touch them.  I took the Marlin 30-30 a couple times.

I have a 1984 Winchester 30-30 that I use for Deer Hunting in the thick brush & a 270 Winchester w/ Scope for more open country!

I did not mention that the Mosin Nagant I am holding was mfg in late 1945. It was the model 1944 carbine.  It has seen military service in countless theaters of war; possibly most notably in the recent troubles in Kosovo.  I would be remiss if if i did not point out that the 7.62 X 54mmR (Rimmed) is one of the few rimmed military rounds in use today.  Probably most notably in the Dragunov sniper rifle.  There is a 6.5 x54 mm R variant used in target rifles.

Ruger I thought made a revolvers, cannot find it now.  But every major MFG makes the 5.7 X 28 semi auto pistol.  e.g., FN . Ruger, KelTec.

BTW Remember the .22 Hornet cal?  It was made in a revolver.

Hi guys, I have a 2004 big bear 400. Last winter while plowing the driveway, I heard a loud pop from the left side of the engine. It continued to run as I looked for leaky fluid, but then died shortly after backing it up and won’t start now. The oil light comes on when I try to start it, no noise or anything else.
No blown fuses that I can find.
