What spark plugs are in your toys ?

JUST WONDERING ?

so im wanting to know what brand of plugs you prefer to use in all of your riding toys and a little info about why you use that brand .. and what do your plugs cost in your area ..

i use NGK and have sence the late 1980's when i was riding a honda 250R ...<<the good old days.. it was what came in it and i have tried other plugs but not with the luck of ngk.. they cost any ware from $3.29 to $5.00 depending on what riding toy they are for

We run primarily NGK but ended up with quite a few Honda recently. Bought a bunch for a tuning session and didn't end up needing to use most of them.

ES are about $2.50 each

EG are $5-$6 each

We tune with ES and run EG

do you know who makes the honda plugs ? ill have to call my buddy at the local honda dealer and see if they know ...

I believe they're off the same assembly lines as NGK

yes your rite ... just got off the phone with the local honda shop and they said the honda plugs are NGK .. and only have there name put on them but have the same part # as the regular NGK plugs ...

Yep and what's strange is that, depending on the retailer, sometimes NGK cost less and sometimes Honda cost less!?!

dealers do crazy things ... they will sell there name brand plugs at a cheaper rate just to sell the name and raise the price on the others to make up the difference (they cost the dealer the same ) ... i was talking to the local dealers son who runs the store/shop and he told me all kinds of crazy stuff they do just to make a buck...

Easy plug to get and its the one that mostly comes with the atv. I would never use a Champion plug in an atv or anysmall engine for that matter. They Seem to foul out the most.
