Just wanted to introduce myself without sounding like an add. I am the only true ATV shop in the Bay Area and will be happy to help any and all with what ever questions you have. I have been riding ATVs in California for a long time and founded Sierra Off Road Riders Association (SORRA) last year an all ATV racing series.

Dunes i can ride are at Pismo beach which is about a 4 hour drive. I make the drive about once a year but the coast is just over the hill from me.

I would not be to jellious if I were you. California SUCKS! High taxes, traffic everywhere, no one has any morals or integrity. I could go on and on. I was born here but I am looking forward to leaving. Yes the weather is good and I am near the beach but try to find a job.

Now i am Jealous Quadnut 20! You should see the hoops i had to jump through to start an ATV shop. Just getting a permit to put up a sign was ridiculous. If not for my wife and her job, pension and benefits i would be headed out of California tomorrow.

I am new to this site. I have a 1987 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport I think. Is there a difference between quadsport and quadrunner?

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.
