Hello, I have a magnum 330 4x4 all stock just like i got it from the dealership. I have never had a problem untill now. it starts easy idles great. then when you run it for a few minutes it looses all power. it will idle great but will not move when you are on the gas, it will loop, try to rev up then fall on it face. it will do this untill you let off the gas then it will idle great.

the past week we opened up the carb several time several different guys and cleaned it out. well after the first time it was "look at how clean it is", was the comments. cleaned out the fuel pump, new fuel lines and filter.. the reason i started this was for no power and no top end and stalling, we even adjusted the valves to factory spec. on the jets they are factory set no adjustment other than idle, and it idles perfect. everything i have learned over the years tells me it is a lack of fuel, i have good flow out of the tank on both lines, have good flow to the pump. I dont know how this pump works and no one i know does either. seems to run off the crankcase pressure.... from the piston going up and down. not sure,.... anybody have any time with this polaris 330 engine, the 500 may have the same set up maybe others.

      1990 fourtrax 300 no power no lights

      I have a 1990 Honda fourtrax 300 2x4
      I rode the other day for 30-45 min. Switched it off and now it is completely dead..
      battery is fully charged, fuses are good . WILL NOT TURN OVER ,
      headlights won't turn on , No neutral, reverse or oil temp lights . Electrically it is completely dead !!! I replaced the key switch and CDI box , STILL NOTHING.
      I bypassed the neutral safety switch and grounded it to the battery and still nothing !! I used a jumper wire on the starter Solenoid , the motor will turn over but not start . I even bypassed both fuses and straight wired it to see if I could get a neutral light or headlights still nothing . What could it be ?

      Hisun 700 EFI. Replaced TMAP sensor had broken off . Fuel pump pressure 41psi. The only way I can keep it running (and runs fine) is to close off fuel return line.

      This thing came with a cheap aftermarket carb on it the problem I'm having is it won't start with choke installed into carburetor it will start and get run without it installed then bogs out after about 2 min run time I've checked timing , compression, checked valves for proper clearance , also did a smoke test for air leaks found none.

      I suspect this bike may have a bad speed limiter. The part number for is 4060204. I found this one on ebay but it has a part number that is 1 number different. (4060203). It has the same LR44-2 and says its for a 94 Magnum 425. Will this one work on my machine or do I absolutely have to have the 4060204? Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you

      1998 Polaris Magnum 425 starts but dies right away.

      I picked up this ATV that had no spark. The previous owner said he was driving it and it died and would not start. He discovered it had no spark. He replaced the CDI and the coil with no luck. He got tired of it and I bought it. I replaced the stater and now it has strong spark. Now, it starts for a second or two then dies. It will not stay running. I have checked the timing and it is spot on. The valves are adjusted correctly. I see no warn issues with the cam. I put the original CDI and coil back on it. Same problem exists. Compression is at 65 psi (has decompression mechanism),
      I took off the muffler in case the issue was clogged pipes. No change. I replaced the spark plug. No change. The carb was an aftermarket so I put a Niche carb on with no change. I bypassed the fuel pump and that did nothing to solve the problem. 
      I don't know if this is a carb issue or an ignition issue. I am looking around locally for an OEM carb to try out but not sure that will fix the problem. 
      Can anyone help me solve this problem. I am running out of ideas.
