    Yeah long trips with 190 inch wheels would be bad ...I found a Triton frame with need of an axle. 14 feet over all and 78 inch wide frame.

    I have one with 12 inch wheels, trailer tires and i have one with regular car size tires, 15 inch, it tows a lot better on long trips. 6x10 is a large trailer for 10 inch wheels.

    I love St Louis and ..Cahokia Ill. Love that area which is at the banks of the prehistoric Mississippi River. The flats along the prehistoric river have quick sand. A city official showed me that.

    Been my experience, the Smaller the Wheels/Tires the Faster they spin & are hard on wheel bearings! Bought a Used Trailer with either 8"or10 " Wheels then repacked the wheel bearings .I lost the right side wheel going thru St. Louis at about 60 mph ,the trailer wheels were probably going about 90!!

    I have been working the bugs out of one of our 2013 Grizzly 700's. I like the power steering more than I thought I would. The electric front diff lock is nice. Fuel injection is adequate even if a little doggy and to me harder starting. Ground clearance is nice. But dang these things ride like a hay rack. I usually run down around 5psi tire pressure. Have the shocks set as soft as they will go and these things still beat me to death. Have a 2004 kodiak that isn't much better but then it is not as fancy. I expected better. Got the handle bars down so they are not yanking my arms out of my shoulder sockets on every bump but still. Disappointed.

    On another ancient forum I hang around at a member posted that Verticle scope stock is almost bottomed out, which brings up the question of, if they fail then all of that information is gone. Not that I would, but I cannot even visit VS owned sites from work because of the add blocker which I cannot or am not allowed to turn off. So when I do google information, if it takes me to a VS site I cannot see it anyway. On top of that, AI has already reaped all the good information from those sites. So no need to join and participate. Too bad, people don't want to learn anymore, just get an instant answer for the struggle they are in. I wonder if VS fails and those sites go down, will places like this pick up? Or will more people just move to other platforms like FB?

    i found a Triton w 10 inch wheels and wheels under flat 6 x 10 bed. but it does not have triangular tongue. I tow across country 880 miles sometimes.

    We have two 2021 850 XTP MAXX OUTLANDERS with nearly identical VINS. Both ATVS had the DPS error out the exact same week. Repair shop says need new DPS motors. How is that possible? Anyone else have DPS issues?

    Yes Mobile zero 40 in my Mercedes convertible coupe 3.2 L with two spark plugs per cylinder (electronic speed limiter set at 155 mph) requires Mobile. 7.6 qts of oil! I haven't tripped the speed limiter ...YET! You know in Florida the radar speed signs in slow down areas do not read above 90mph!

    I bought this back in 2007, it is the ATV88 model from a local dealer. I guess things have changed now that dealers don't stock much anymore. Trailer has held up well. Only changed the bearings once. Been through a few sets of tires but they are small so they wear quicker.

    Good point! Im seeing more of that happening, dont stock, have to order it, i like looking over what im buying.

    Yes the T4 diesel 15w40 oil is what i get, but i dont use it in everything, it is rathar thick for modern engines, i usually use it in older air cooled engines with some wear, the thicker oil helps in high heat environments. The T6 is the synthetic version a lot of my associates swear by it, i have never used it. For newer engines with few hrs on them i usually go with mobile ! or if its brand new, stick with the OEM oil for a while, only because it is specifically formulated for those engines and may help with the break in period. I know they say engines dont need to be broke in anymore, but i still baby them for a few hundred miles. Valvoline is another oil that many use that is available at Walmart Mart specifically for motorcycles and ATV, another i havent used but for many its there go to oil. I will try it at some point, the brand is one of the old reputable ones been around for a while and is good oil.

    Hard to find dealers ....They franchise through a lot of Motorcycle / ATV dealers who don't stock .

    Hmm would be nice to have one of those just for general maintainence too i guess. I ended up like rubber banding a baggie of oil and letting it soak through the cable then when i put it on it was still grabbing and oddly enough spinning the ends 180 degrees makes it not grab anymore. The new cable has like a more solid cable or something in it because my OEM one spins freely but new one is hard and feels like its almost a solid wire spinning in there or something, weird. Long story short bad cable still but might limp by with oil and rotation. Im still getting one of those pressure oilers though.

    You could get a cable oiler and try that first , i have saved many cables with a pressure oiler for cables.

    I wonder what brand of trailer ..aluminum trailer Mike bought? I see the weihts of identical size aluminum trailers can vary from 600 lbs to 800 lbs.

      Hey guys and gals. I've been working on my friends 2007 big bear IRS. Unfortunately after 3 different people got their hands on it and only made things worse every time.  After months of finding just crazy problems everywhere. I'm finally at the point we're its almost 100% !!! But I'm getting a short somewhere between the 4xW switch I believe. I managed to by searching the internet like a  fiend, got my hands on an official Yamaha wire harness for the year and make. But I don't have the numbered component list and to be honest. After hours of going through and making everything so it's  easy to reference. If anyone has a picture of the referenced components. I would be forever in your debt. I've spent hours marking up the blown up diagram so it will be easy, for any possible future repairs. Please and thank you. Here's a picture of what i have so far.  Unsealed it in plastic so oil and crap won't spill or get smudged.
