  1. Yes there is minimal pitting that i am reducing by buffing. Herewith you can see the one side that is pitted whereas the remining 90 % of the Colt is very good . I will look at "Rust Bluing" It's my favorite CC. ...I like Wad Cutter ammo. However, my S&W M&P Bodyguard 380 is easy to hide even in shorts. LOL

  2. That is an excessive amount of heat, did this start recently or been a problem since new. If it is recent i would say you have a partially clogged Catalitic converter.

  3. It looks like the Colt has been reblued at some point as the bluing looks like it goes into the pits and scratches. If it was hot blued, leave it as it would be a better finish.

  4. Im kind of a tool Junkie myself, i cant stand to be working on something and not have the right tool.
