  2. I'm not at all familiar with Artic cat but every small engine I've ever food with (a few thousand, including outboard motors) has a kill wire that goes to the igniter or whatever you want to call that box the spark plug wires come out of. If it is grounding the circuit which produces the spark then it ain't gonna spark. Disconnect the sucker and see what happens.... if that gives you spark then work back from there. It could be the kill wire in the switch or the switch itself having a short in it. I've been through this several times on old outboard motors.
  3. Sounds like some of the issues I've run into before and it's always the simplest thing and you'll feel stupid and like an idiot for overlooking it when you do find the problem. The problem I've had similar to this was a kill wire grounded or a kill switch. You might just have a key switch that kills it along with a kill switch that is in the off position.... find all kill wires and disconnect them. If it starts right up you'll know how crazy you are for overlooking the simple answer.
