thnx guys, I'll do my research a little more into my deployment when I'm ready to get back home. just wanting to get some info. can't wait to get back and crank her up into 5th grear after giving her some TLC.

Joe, no pic buddy. Instead of starting a new thread, post in your sticky thread.
I corrected the problem. and I'm doing good.

Not sure if it's been asked before, but when I get back, I'm looking to get sand tires for my quad. wanting to know if there is a big difference in the models and manufacturers, and if at all possible, which one(s) are the best?
-
ya, thnx for the reminder. though I'll be trading in the CR-V and selling the trailer when I get back... so I should have a truck and or an RV. just hope the tides don't come in like they did on that one saturday morning. lmao
-
sadly I won't be able to ride till september or october. I already miss it. I was feening for my quad a week after I got here. lol

Try it again on a different contest....2 can am's, a yamaha dirt bike, a yamaha grizz, and the infamous trike....I should wind just based on variety of platforms haha. here's hoping.

Heyhey I have internet access and quadcrazy isn't blocked yet....but there are quads over here used by the british and Dutch. So far, I've seen Kawasaki and Polaris Utes, 1 each used by contractors, Polaris Rangers, and a FLEET of CAN-AM OUTLANDERS! Reportedly they run into the mountain regions on them for smash and grab missions. I have taken a few pics, but can't load them till I get back to the states.

Thnx for the support guys, gals, and MWKE. haha this is my last post for the next 5 months. I'll talk to you guys as much as I can but more than likely it'll be in august when i get back.
take care and keep the rubber down.

Taking a camera?
Good luck, stay safe, and thank you for serving our country and keeping us safe!
Yes I will be. gotta have proof right? not just word of mouth. haha

Seattle Mariners. We got Griffey back. Even though the first few years after we got rid of him A-Rod and Randy Johnson, that's when we had the 116 win season. haha
-
My title is EO2, aka Equipment Operator Second Class. I basically drive the heavy equipment for the Navy's Seabees. Their construction force. Oh, and I'll definitly be keeping an eye out for quads over there, and I'll let you know if they are on the front lines in Afghanistan.

No more Starbucks and we will have enough money.
You find a spot, and I'll move there into one of the RV spots, and I'll be the manager, or one of them. lol
-
LOL, Thanks Joe:mad:
Anytime buddy, Anytime.

This Kristin and I early in the morning.
I'll bite....Mike, you truly do look better in this pic....but you still don't beat the drtymouse. lol she's still prettier than you.
-
But still....DEPLOYMENTS SUCK! even though I plan on coming back with nearly $20,000. Most of it going to bills, trading in my CR-V for a Midsize-1/4 ton truck, and an RV. lol
-
thnx. for the support. you can send things now. Our mail is already being forwarded to our deployment site. It'll probably be better though to send it next week so it's not just sitting there waiting for me.

There is my mailing address for the next 5 months.
If you want to send care packages, send items that will help us stay clean and keep our tummies full. MRE's and Galley food just won't cut it. haha Chocolates and other things that melt are not recommended cause in the summer it will reach up to 120+ during the days. Take care, shiny side up (unless you're doing a backflip, haha), and I will see you on the flip side.

Looks like a great place to ride, Joe! An hour isn't that far to go riding!!! Think of all the people who have to travel at least 2 or 3 hours to get somewhere to ride....
Sorry to hear you're being deployed. But, you gotta do what you gotta do, and we all appreciate you for it!!
True, I just want to live near a place where I can get on my quad and go instead of having to load up....like where I lived my first 10 years. lived right down the road from Weyerhauser forests. and my dad knows the people who manage it.....let alone he made most of the trails there when he was into hunting. lol THAT's what I dream of....sadly, there's no place like that near a navy base.
-
Yes Bot, we all know who the pretty one is.....to this day, I still don't know why she married you. lol

If it's after August, let me know when it happens and I'll try to be there as well. I'd like to see what my Can Am does.

A few of the guys I'm stationed with who love to ride are getting stationed up in Bangor WA this next year. I was wondering if any of ya'll had any places you ride?
The ones I know of are around capitol forest, and near my hometown.
Help me out.
