sorry i would have started in that forum but there is not much traffic and thought i might better results in the general forum since it a generic question and not a specific brand question

i have a 2012 cf moto x5 and our village made atvs road legal and im interested in putting reverse lights on it, is there some way to wire it to the shifter or would it be better to wire them to a momentary switch like a horn button?

Harbor Freight, wait til they have a 4.99 coupon and grab them up, got them on everything one stays with each car or on it sometimes vehicles can go weeks without being ran around here

well i plan on keeping my current set of rims and tires and just use them during the winter only so i will still have to get a set of rims. The plan is to use car street tires because of cost and the availability of such as compared to the price and availability of dot atv tires. Street tires are avail new and used all day long and cheap and i have our tire groover in the stock car trailer. My interest is in someone who has already done this and their opinions of the on road manners of said vehicle and any down sides to such. I can pick up 14in alum and steel rims and the junk yard here in town but cross referencing only shows an rx7 as having the matching bolt pattern so adapter/spacers to a more common pattern would be better, honda or ford rims

its a cfmoto x5, the tires on it now are 24" tall and are roughly the size of a pair of 13" tires on a set of honda rims i have. i just dont know anyone that has changed to street tires

My village has now made golf carts and atv's legal on the street and now that the wife and i can go cruise around i'm considering putting on street tires to save my knobbies. Thinking on the route of saving costs and using car rims i'm sure i will have to get adapters but has anyone had experiences doing this? Down falls? We dont mud or anything and they would be used for summer only.

Ive got an old 220 Bayou rolling chassis thats been in the barn covered up trying to figure out what to do with it, thought about making it into a pull behind wagon or something
