not going to jack the thread..so back onto topic i really like the crf250r jigolbeep and good luck with it.. got any plans for it?
thanks i really dont know what all i want to do... i just got some black n-style number plate back grounds and i've got to get some #s so i can start racing the beginners class in the near future... this winter i am probably going to tear my wheels down and have my buddy josh coat them black with gold or red hubs and probably have him coat some other stuff too... Ill end up getting an exhaust and probly go through the head and put in better seats, valves, springs and keepers and maybe a little porting. Truethfully i think if i get my jetting spot on it wouldnt need much more power to haul me around.
-
i was thinking the same thing????? idk bot he's just a kid and you know how kids are... haha!!!!!!!
-
you should probably check those valves and the piston. hondas have been known to blow up, then your out $1000
Im a mechanic, trust me they get checked. exhaust .011 and intake .005 right on specs...
one more ride and ill have to change the oil for the third time.
I love my bike. I havn't ridden my Banshee since i bought my bike.

I went riding at friends track on my Banshee in mx trim about a month ago and by the end of the weekend i was riding around on his crf250r and i just had to have one. I ended up trading a guy bike for bike. I traded him my 02 warrior 350 for an 04 crf250r with 20 hours on it. I still have a my Banshee but 2 wheels sure are a ton of fun...
We have been riding every weekend at either my buddies track, eagles roost, or a couple other local tracks. Ive had my 250 for about 3 weeks and already crashed jumping a 50ft table top. here are some pics of my bike and some of our riding.
Just after my first ride...
Jumping my Banshee in mx trim. +2 arms, stock swinger, 18's rear, 19's front

Some friends and I have been playing for a few years now... We try to play when ever we can get together, when we arent busy... I started out with 98 but got a better gun a couple years ago... They have some whicked stuff these days so you can spend a lot of money in this sport...
I dont know if you have heard of D-Day Adventure Park in Oklahoma but its the host of the worlds biggest paintball game... about a half hour drive for me... I think in 07 the had over 4000 players for the d-day event and im sure its gotten bigger since...
hear is a link... D-Day Adventure Park - Home
here is my marker and gear... Spyder TL-R with my sniper barrel on... I need to go to the surplus and get some new camo...

+6?? If your not dragging i dont think you need that long maybe a +3 or +4 dont know about dunes much but but how bout SMC? There cheap and have a good warranty. Our Houser.
Most fast drag bikes run a +12 to +18 not just a +6... +6 works awesome for me and i can still jump all day with it and it hooks awesome with a good set of paddles.

It isn't really my oops, but a friends oops involving my bike...
Me and a friend loaded both our bikes on my trailer and went riding... We rode then headed back to his house to drop him off... He unloaded his bike and i took off but what I didnt know is that he undid my ratchet strap off the back of my bike and didnt put it back... Needless to say i got about a mile down the road and i looked back in my rear view mirror and seen my bike tumbling down the road at about 45 mph... I loaded it back up and headed home... I had to replace a bent stearing stem, front tire from rubbing on the trailer tire, and fix some scratches in one wheel and the plastic...

Me jumping on my banshee during sandfest 07 at Little Sahara OK dunes... My buddy Josh on his banshee and Dave on his 400ex watching in the background
-
I would either go with a +4 or +6... Im running a +6 on my banshee and it is very duneable... We ride a lot of trails at the dunes and i can still turn with no problem... It is a blast to hillshoot with a +6 swinger...

This is my 2007 TRX450ER, DrtyGrl's 2006 Rhino 660, and a friends 198? Jeep Cherokee; and me in the back ground and the driver of the Jeep peeing next to his vehicle.
HAHA!!!!!!! When you gotta go you gotta go....

Love the pix! I wanna make it out there this year. How long is your swingarm jigolbeep?
Thanks!! Im running a +6 and it still like to lift the front end... We will be back there the first of may and probably for sandfest too... you would love it, it is alway a good time...

Not a lot of big dunes like that around in my area. Is it tough to keep the machines clean? Does the sand cause things to wear quick?
We usually ride for about a week and they dont get that dirty unless you get around the water... As far as things wearing qicker as long as you clean things up when you get back its not that big of an issue... Just have to keep good seals in everyting and nothing gets in to wear parts... I dont think it is any worse than than dirt or mud...

it is a 2 stroke, but anyway it is a project indeed and i'm lookin forward to getting it running. (not running when i got it )
I dont think so??? There is no expansion chamber!! Looks like a 230 4 stroke...
-
Man this sucks... I don't have any pics of my banshee close to any other bikes... Would a picture of and honda and MY DUST work??????????
HEHEHE!! I couldn't resist...
-
Looks like a good project... Its amazing what a little paint and cleaning will do... But i dont think its a LT250r... the 250r's were 2 stroke...
-
Whats up gooooooooober!!!!!!!!! Good to see your actually on here....

travis has a motorsports hero, i think... we used it in the dunes when we went to little sahara... worked pretty good... we even got some night footage in the trails... Post some vids up travis!!!

11.9:1
I dont think he is asking about the compression ratio... Stock compression should be 120psi plus... Im pretty sure you have to disable the auto decompression on it to get a good reading or you could do a leak down test on it...
-
Whats all your specs on your motor?? If your compression isnt way up there you should be ok with 91 octane... im around 150 psi on my banshee cylinders and im running 91... 32:1 with Klotz Super Techniplate oil...
-
thanks for puttin the pic of you blasting the p*** out of me lol
yep no problem... I didnt even know i did that until i seen the picture...
-
I just added some videos at the bottom...
-
yep it was a blast... Im going back with some other friends in may and for sandfest in the fall...
