well the fastest ive been on a quad was 83mph on the gps ... been 85mph on snowmobile and both were on gravel roads in rural park county indiana ...

well actually it was that i hadent got to bed yet ... but now im up and its my morning ... got up about 11:30 am... now its time to dig up good old posts and bring them back to life ... ive been called a post miner so im gonna go with it and keep digging ..

i havent found an app any ware yet ...lol.

i have the tow straps a flashlight and a lighter and water a few tools and tire plug kit with co2 inflater and the stock tool kit but thats usually about it unless im going ware no man has gone b4 in a quad then i take alot more things to get unstuck with ....

mine would have to be the old honda 250R .. i would then say my second choice would be the honda 400ex ... ... i now love the the kawasaki Vforce 700 ... but the old 250r really started the power wars of the 80's for quads ...

i ride the snow every chance i get .. i ride all my quads and snowmobiles in it ... i usually ware cover all and heavy snow boots with several layers of clothing under it to help stay warm longer ...and i avoid water to help with staying warm and dry longer ...

i have a swisher its 60inch cut and have had it for several years with no problems ... use it to cut trails also in the low land grass around here ..

i loved my 250 r ... wish they still had them at the dealers ... but thats not going to happen ... have seen alot of them for sale on ebay and craigslist over the past several weeks

well good morning all ...its 3:16 am here in indiana

i had a big 9000lb from them on a jeep ... it worked fine but got hot on some long pulls... and had a 12000 lb on a toyota 4x4 .. they worked great but did have a tendancy to get hot on long pulls ... but work great ... i have a 1500lb from them that is on my V force 700 and used it 1 time ... it worked great that time but havent used it sence ... i even took it off cause it was not as easy to ride wheelies ..... i plan on useing it for 1 of my snow plows .. i got it on sale for around $50.00

if you can find some electric grease and put it in toyr plugs and lightly on the contact areas it will help it not to happen again ... corrosion on electric parts and contacts is the biggest cause of problems on atv's .. it should be the first place people should look at for problems like this ...

yup they fit but if you put a wider axle and A-arms on it its not gonna fit any more ... lol

heck yah .... i have seen the 1000 's in action at the bad lands and they have some real big go ... if i had the $$$ i would have 1 thats for shure ...

i built 1 out of an old tralor ramp gate its heavy duty and i use it to haul large rocks out of creeks and rivers for land scaping i do for extra cash ... i have hauled rocks that weigh around 500 lbs on it ...

well a big chunck of the riding near me has been turned into a wetlands ... and its freekin nutz ... its river bottoms and has been used for off roading for about 50 years or more ... now the DNR guys like to come here and ride there quads and side X sides and if any one else is back there riding they will chase you down crash you if you run and they catch up 2 u ware they can and take your quads and take you to jail and you have to fight in cort 2 get your quad back ....and you can get up to a year in jail + fines up to $1200.00 for your first time ... its freekin crazy ...

its not quads that are bad its the idiots on them ... we have several idiots that ride up and down streets weekly and its not legal here as of yet ... but i ride mine down the alley only a few blocks and across 1 street to get to my riding trails .. and its no big deal .. i ride slow and dont do stupid stuff .. but have had the cops called and been stoped and was told by the cops that the callers said we were throwing rocks with our quads and running about 50 mph and all kinds of crap like that ... but i have my vid camera set up and use it and have shown the officers the vid of us riding and they say go on just dont be an idiot like some ... but any way i also ride with several of the local police officers and they know me and that im riding like an idiot ... but its the riders and idiots on the quads that give quads a bad name ...

i like to buy base ball gloves made by wilson ... they can be bought cheap at walmart in the off season and are usually made of leather ... the mechanix gloves are also a very good choice ... i have raced the iron man here in indiana and they work great with no blisters from either of them ..

yes .. thats the safety .. i would clean the connections on the brake switch plug and any of the connections on the brake light wiring and any other connections (wire plug connections ) on it that you can find and see if that will help ... my 350 rancher did this a time or 2 and i found corrosion (green gunk) in the connections and it quit after cleaning ... the brake switch may also be dirty and corroded ...

got a polaris sportsman 500HO X2 efi

thoes kits with the co2 are the chit ... and really are a neat and small package setup ... i gotta get me a new 1 of them for my polaris X2 i got a month ago

i use it every once in a while on 1 of my old harleys that i still have points in .. and i also have a 1973 honda 250xl and it has points and so does a a honda 70 atc ... so i use mine from time 2 time ...

ic... do you have to hold the breaks to start in gear ?

thats an odd 1 ... now here is a question ... does it have a safety for starting in gear ?
