  1. Get rid of the NAFTA Treaty. Big government won't allow it. Trump tried to stop it and they hated him. I have yet to find any good part made in China, it's all junk.
  2. i did put a spark tester on it while running, it has an orange spark, i'm not sure how bright it should be, and that won't show me if it's failing and resuming. i'll see what a timing light will show. thank you
  3. i don't think so, sometimes it'll clear up and run fine, then starts acting up. 2 stroke smoke does come out the end. i'll look that over but i don't think thats it. thank you
  4. i added this video because its hard to explain what it's doing. i cant figure this problem out. i thought it was fuel. but its got good flow from the tank and i tried a different carb and got the same result. hiting the throttle doesnt change anything. it's driving me nuts. it has a new stator and coil. video-1656360395.mp4
  5. it was an aftermarket. easy to install, worked well. if i can find what brand it was , i'll let you know.
  6. I bought a stator for a 98 polaris from Partzilla. it was around 230 bucks.
  7. I buy off ebay, just bought a Wiesco top end lit for my Polaris. If I can't find what I need off Ebay, I go to Partszilla . kit
  8. I tried finding a carb., i cant find a 2 stroke carb anywhere for this polaris. i can find 4 stroke carbs all day long. i bought a rebuild kit, i'll see how that goes. thank you

  10. I have a 1990 Trailboss 250 2 stroke 4x4 thats giving me a headache. It has great spark , seems to get fuel, but wont start. it turns over, tries firing sometimes, but just wont get going. I had it going once giving it some throttle, about half throttle, but died out. seems like its starving for fuel, but the plug gets wet and fuel comes out of the opening for the air cleaner. i'm really stumped . if it has spark and getting fuel, it should run. I did rebuild the carb also. Any suggestions ?
  11. thanks everyone. looks like someone removed the oil reserve. i saw that they are all 2 strokes, that oil fill and glass level indicator must be trans oil.
  12. i checked the vin again, that is whats stamped on the frame. i believe it is a 4 stroke . i found an oil fill and the glass oil level indicator . 198 stamped on the side of the motor. my guess is an 88 yamaha blaster 200 4 stroke.
  13. there are 2 dashes on the camshaft, i lined them up even with the head and had the timing mark lined up in the inspection hole on the crankcase.
  14. thank you, i checked the number a few times, thats what it comes up. i'll look at it again.
