  1. I'm relatively new to the King Quad 300's, what sort of things should I be servicing/checking every year or so to ensure the bike continues to run smoothly? i.e when the bikes in for an oil change what sort of things should I check over at the same time.
  2. Have just brought a King Quad 300. Is there a fuel filter located somewhere? And is it easy to access for cleaning etc? Any other filters on the bike that I should check/clean/replace while I'm at it Many Thanks
  3. What is the best engine oil to use for the Suzuki King Quad - also any other tips and tricks I should know before doing an oil change on these bikes
  4. Does anyone know what year they stopped producing the King Quad 300? - particularly in Australia and New Zealand What were the design changes?
  5. Has anyone else had an issue on older king quads where the oil would leak from the top of the head (due to a failed gasket) and drip onto the hot exhaust? Mine got so hot one time it caught fire. Just wondering if this is a common issue, as I've seen the same thing happen on multiple bikes that were the same model.
  6. Perhaps some heat could be applied to evaporate the moisture behind the instruments?
  7. King Quad 300 - although not indestructible, will get you home and beyond without fail
  8. Front handbrake failed on my suzuki king quad, rolled down a slope for roughly 100m then crashed into a large manuka forest. plastics and mudguards etc were not in good shape when we pulled her out of the trees.
  9. Had them on the farm for years, particularly the Suzuki King Quad 300s. The hi-lo and super low range proved invaluable when working in the steep hills of New Zealand. Great bikes in most aspects, although many seem to have an issue where the top gasket on the cylinder head fails and leaks oil onto the exhaust below. This is quite a common problem, and have seen it on multiple bikes. Will cause a fire and excess heat/smoke if not repaired or replaced.
