I have a 2000 wolverine 350 that the woodruff key sheared on. In turn it banged up the woodruff key keyway. Is there any way to fix this without replacing the crank? I would have to replace the cdi rotor because it scraped up the inside of it. I just don't want to waste money on this four wheeler if it isn't going to be a permanent fix.

I have a 2001 wolverine just replaced woodruff key because it sheared off. Now i hear a knocking, clunking sound at lower rpms. Haven't driven it in quite a while so I'm not sure if this was a normal sound before. It seems to drive and perform fine. It has me stumped.

Ok folks so here is the deal. I have a 2000 Yamaha wolverine that wasn't starting so I tore it down and the woodruff key had sheared. I got a new woodruff key and side gasket replaced it and put it together now there is a rattling grinding sound coming from that side when the four wheeler is running. I have took it apart three more times just to check it out and everything appears to be in place properly. Any help would be appreciated. I am at my wits end with it.

I took the starter out and the teeth look good on it and it is spinning when power is applied.

Yes it will turn over by the pull cord. The starter can be heard spinning it just isn't turning it over.

Hey guys and gals I have a 2000 wolverine that it seems like the starter is engaging but the engine isn't turning over. Any help.would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Barry

Well dont really know the history of it but probably.I bought it used and have since had to rebuilt it.Apparently it has had a hard past life.Thanks for the help.I will check it out when I get home from Iraq -
I have alot of play in my right front wheel,really noticeable when jacked up.Any suggestions would be appreciated. 2001 wolverine 350
