  1. The only thing that makes sense to me is that you have a dead short in the wiring that powers the diff lock actuator, and it is grounding out the entire electrical system. I would inspect the wiring for damage or signs of tinkering by an idiot.

I am moving your thread to the Kazuma forum.

Yes I'm on the same page here, sounds like a dead short, I had this problem once. I had broken wires to my ignition. Get busy with a test light, process of elimination, takes time but you'll find it.

  2. If it runs fine idleing and in neutral, it almost sounds like it's starving for fuel when you open the throttle. Have you checked the air filter ? Might be running too rich from lack of proper air/fuel ratio, kind of like running with the choke on. Also check and make sure the choke is fully releasing, I've seen a similar problem with a '07 Yamaha dirt bike. Had to lube up the choke mechanism to get it to release all the way, run like a top after that.

  3. I`m jealous!!! That looks like a blast ! I think we are gettin 1" tonite :aargh:

Ya, for bieng flatlanders we have the best powder riding that I have seen in years. Most of it came in the last couple weeks, but the evil weather man is telling us it's going to warm up, which will shrink our perfect playground. Right now you can get bucked off and it feels like landing on a cloud, you just dissapear for a few seconds.

  4. Its been a bad year for snow here NONE!!! 11" total all year The ridin is great though Keep in mind this is at 8500' above sea level

How much snow do you usually have at this time of year ? I'll see if I can snap a few pics with my phone today, and post them later in the week.

  5. I tell you what when i was a kid we only had 3 channels. Now we have 5000 channels:yes:

I was at Sears and they had that 3D TV there that thing is weird, and i don't think i could where glass all of the time.

I just wish they could come up with a way to smell what is going on. I love watching Man-V-food, I just wish i could smell the food:wink::biggrin::yes:

Be carefull what you wish for, have you ever watched Trashopolis? LOL

  6. I always hurts to loose a friend or watch someone get hurt. If you are careful and not doing anything stupid then it is truely an accident and well they happen. I have seen a few bad acidents and even had a few close calls. The point is that if you are a hard core rider you choose to take that risk. Everyone percieves what is dangerous based on what they feel comfortable with. Football is dangerous you can get hurt or become paralized but that sport in no way has the same bad wrap. I just think it is others that do not understand what getting out with friends and family while atving/camping is really about who are quick to put down our sport.

Very true, if history has taught us anything, it's that ignorance breeds hatred.

  7. Here is another reason this sport gets a bad rep. People die from it! I watch my best friend hit a tree doing about 45 and it killed him instantly. Because we were just cruising and dirt got in his eyes and bam! After all this has happened you wont ride the same ever again! Trust me from this, watching your best friend who you introduced into this sport get killed, makes you think twice about everything from there on!

Ya, I watched a guy on a snowmobile run into a barbwire fence. He ripped his face open to his ears on both sides, he survived, but that night has stuck with me for the rest of my life. It's made me slow down and think about how fast your life can change in the blink of an eye. And your right, it gives the whole sport a black eye, but what bothers me is the fact that people die every day on the hiways, but you're not instantly tagged an idiot for that, and in my opinion there's a higher idiot ratio of daily road rage on public roads.

  8. Gearhead I would love that! Best enjoy it while you can!! cuz all this bullshit is creeping north!

That's what worries me, at all the popular riding areas I go to, you can see it coming allready. The last three years or so, I've been harrassed for paperwork more times than I have on the roads, in my truck, my whole life. At least on the hiways they need a reason to stop you. Thier like a bunch of vultures on the trails, it's really starting to piss me off.

  9. I think the biggest story is the new rearend suspension on the RZR 900. It is a 3 point trailing arm setup. Similar to what the trophy trucks use. Except the trucks use 4 point.

I didn't know about that one, good to see thier keeping up on the ride quality, to match the hp's. Looks like Can Am's wild card has been trumped allready.

  10. side by sides are no longer legal in Oregon, even if they are under 50 inches wide. [not including the beach]. they are considered farm equipment!!! wow

speaking of rubber bands, have you read anything about that 900?

AC shame on you: putting a US name on a Korean unit.

maybe I should have bought up a bunch of old Pinto and L20B Datsun engines- sounds like that may be the next step eh? hahaha

No SxS's in Oregon??? What's next, mandatory training wheels on dirt bikes? Actually it doesn't suprise me, just another step in thier diabolical plan to exterminate us from the face of the earth....free country my as* ! As for your question, no I haven't read very much about the 900 yet, just stumbled across the press release. The major magazines should be coming out with some articles in the next couple months, I would imagine. By the way, I had a good laugh when I read your comments about Cat's approach.
