    • I agree with the guys on get an amp clamp on there so you know how many amps your pulling, and put an inline fuse near your battery. My guess is you have a short in the light bar when on high... On high you it should read about 8.333 Amps,  Just an option, but I would cut out any traditional but splices, and replace with a soldered connection and shrink tube. I have been testing Solder Seal connectors from amazon and they seem to be working really well. You just need a heat gun to install. They take a little practice but work well.  For marine applications I add an additional section of shrink tube over the solder seal connector to make it extra water tight and a tougher layer of insulation.
    • So I am missing the reducing gear as well for the starter. I picked one up for 10 bucks on a chance and its a 53tooth/18tooth which is to big. Same with the pin it rides on.  I am thinking its a 43tooth/? any ideas?
    • I found a digital owner’s manual and discovered that the quad is in fact a 150 and not a 125 like I thought initially. Not sure what good this does but just putting it out there. http://www.bajamotorsports.com/system/documents/126_OWNERS_MANUAL_-_BA150_14_yr_Owners_Manual_VIN_prefix_LLC_.pdf
    • I don’t know what happens when I use the electric starter but when I crank the engine with a wrench the gear on the crankshaft connected to the gear on the starter slips and does not engage the crank. Are you sure that using the electric starter when the cover is off and without oil will not damage the engine.
