  1. At the age of 17 I purchased 85 honda 250 fourtrax. Sold it in 87 to buy a left over 86 250 suzuki quad racer. In 1988 sold quad racer because of lack of places to ride. After several years gone by it was time for new toys. In 2004 got Honda cbr 600 then to Ninja 750 and finally 07 Suzuki 750 gxr. New Years eve of this year bought 2 2003 Honda 300 sportraxs for family fun. Finding places to ride in pa for free is like hitting the lottery but not going to give up trying lol.

  2. The easiest way is to pull the plugs. Black = rich / white = lean and a light tan = just right.

A black dry fluffy colored plug is caused by deposits from a carburetor that is running too rich (too much gas), or excessive idling on some engines. Black smoke coming from the exhaust is a sign of a rich air/fuel mixture. The rich air/fuel mixture must be repaired before installing a new spark plug. Common causes for a rich air/fuel mixture are:

    dirty air filter.

air mixture screw or carburetor needs adjusting.

    choke is sticking.

carburetor float height is out of adjustment or float is sticking open.

  3. Are you referring to forum rules or site wide rules? We don't really have any site wide rules except that we don't allow spam and keep it family friendly. We do have a Learning Center Forum, where we have threads about certain How-Tos. We also have some stickies here and there along with guidelines in the manufacturer specific forums.

    Hope that helps.

Moved topic to Member Feedback forum.

I was referring to forum rules, ok just want to make sure I didnt over look any.

  4. Thank you for the comments and welcome to QUADCRAZY! Yes, we have been using vbulletin for a few years now for our forum, thanks for the offer of assistance. As far as modding, we normally like to get to know you a little first in the forums.. Looking forward to seeing you in the community, feel free to introduce yourself in our new members area: New Members Area! » QUADCRAZY ATV Forums

No problem on getting to know someone before allowing a person to be a mod on your site.

  5. A little about me, in the past I owned several websites and help other admins with theirs. I'm familiar with vbulletin and cpanel, with knowledge of adding mods/styles/scripts. I came to site for knowledge of atv and a place to get good info. LOL and the first thing that got my attention was this post. Even if you don't need a mod and might have some questions concerning vb feel free to pm and ask me. Congrats on nice site..
