No the deltron battery tender comes with pigtail wire connection that you put on the battery post and just plug it into the charger. Or it has ends with it you just clamp on like jumper cables.

We got the front porch finished today after 8 days of sanding and building new hand rails. Now to get the garage back in order & get ready to have our daughters birthday party saturday. Friday is now house cleaning day . After the party I might get to ride. I like the morning temps mid 60's was nice this morning for my short ride time. Porch is done so more ride time for me "O"Boy.

I didn't give up yet. My advice on the head is from my auto background. And that is how you install a head on a car. I feel it should be the same for a quad other wise it is easy to damage the gasket.

We didn't feel it. Atlanta news said they could feel it their about 30 miles from us.

Do you know if you put the rings on the piston in the right order.For the high idle Double check your throttle cable to see if their is an binding sometimes where it goes into the carb can be a little tricky. Does your throttle work smoothley. Even if your head is tight does not mean the gasket did not get damaged when you put it back togather Did you torque everything to specs and with a head you tighten head bolt alittle at a time lets say the specs say 25ft. pounds torque you would set your torque wrench at 10ft. pounds and tighten each head bolt in a cross pattern or x pattern and continue these steps till your at 25ft. pounds. Did you do it this away?

I went and did an internet search all I found was 1 site saying the head gasket would cause this but it only smoked at idle. White smoke is always been moisture. I give up sorry I'm lost on this one. I hope you find the problem & if you do post it please.
